male plants have balls(pollen sacks)...
female plants have hairs(pistils)...

cloning...
this is a very simple process that a lot of people seem to get easily confused over! first you should know that as long as you keep your mother plant on a lighting schedule of 18 hours of light/6 hours of dark, it will never flower(bud)! everytime you take a cutting off the mother more vegative growth will grow in its place! i usually take about 8 cuttings off each of my mothers and root them while the mother re-gains its strength to grow more leaves and branches. when i am ready to take clone cuttings the plant is about a foot or so tall with many long branches coming off the main stem. always take cuttings from the lower portion of the plant as these are the branches and leaves that contain the most mature and healthiest hormones.

steps:

1. take a cutting from bottom of plant. cut at a 45 degree angle with sterile scissors.

2. place the cutting in a cup of pH balanced water to remove any air from the stem.

3. take a razor blade and gently shave off one side of the stems skin from where you cut it to about a half inch up the branch

4. dip the bottom of cutting back into the water to remove any unwanted air in the stem.

5. gently tap off excess water from stem and dip the bottom of the cutting in rooting solution(hormone)

6. once again tap off any excess root solution making sure the bottom of the cutting is covered.

7. place the cutting into either rockwool or peat pods.

8. pinch the soil around the cutting as to not allow any air in

9. hand-spray the plant

10. place in a humidity dome for 2 weeks in in-direct sunlight opening once a day to allow moisture to escape

as long as you keep your mother plant healthy you can take as many cuttings as you want from her~ after leaving in the humidity dome for 2 weeks the roots will be ready to go
