I got all my guns packed up today in case we have to evacuate due to the fires raging in our area- we're currently at level 2 which is "be set to go"- my mom's already been evacuated from the assisted-living facility
I was grabbing original Colt boxes and my wife was like "you're taking empty boxes?" I told her "this empty box makes the gun worth another $100."

hope you guys are ok! a wise man gave me a hint to protect my safe out in the garage: fill up 4 of those 5 gallon jugs with water before you get outta Dodge and place on top of safe.
