Ever wonder who gets booked into the Snohomish County Jail each week? Here’s a snapshot of booking stats for July 14-20, 2019:

401 Total inmates booked
156 Inmates placed on opioid/heroin withdrawal watch (39% of all new bookings)
136 Inmates placed on meth withdrawal watch (34% of all new bookings)
39 Inmates placed on withdrawal watch for other substances (10%)

(Some numbers for withdrawal watch may be duplicated, as an inmate may be withdrawing from more than one substance. Inmates placed on withdrawal watch require enhanced supervision, medical care, and special housing for a period of at least 72 hours.)

Last week, the jail’s specialty housing units (including medical and mental health) were, on average, at 173% over designed capacity.

A total of 3 inmates were refused booking due to medication withdrawal.

They're some of the people to blame. From a quick search, Rochester Drug Co-Operative has an annual revenue of at least $100 million.

From the article :

".... Rochester Drug Co-Operative announced it has entered into a plea agreement in the criminal case and a settlement in the civil case. The company has agreed to admit to the accusations, submit to supervision by an independent monitor, reform its compliance program and pay a $20 million fine......"

I think they should be forced to voluntee, full time, at rehab centers the rest of their lives.

I lived in Everett for 9 years and remember the scary drugged out zombie creatures that walked the streets. So seriously frightening looking individuals. I Finally sold my house back in the beginning of 2016 and was happy to leave it all behind for good. I guess things haven’t changed much or gotten even worse. I worked at Prov Ev for years and from my experiences working at many health care facilities throughout he country the patients at that hospital from Snohomish county were the most repulsive patients I have ever had to take care of. It’s a shame because it’s such a beautiful place but the people ruin it. Shit it’s too bad we couldn’t have met up when I lived there. I had no idea you were there. Take Care!

Believe me, it has gotten worse since you left in 2016.
Ironically, I know a lot of people who work at Providence Everett.
And I have plenty of zombie stories that would make you cringe.

In fact, I've kicked a fair amount of zombie butt -- especially lately.
July has been a big box of turd chocolates.
My daughter is a vulnerable adult living in Snohomish County and I get mean when people fuck with my kid.

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope things get better soon. It’s a really sad state of affairs. I got totally burnt out on the west coast . Every where I lived , WA, OR and CA the homelessness and drug problems were so depressing for me to see. I made it out and live in a nice small town in Oklahoma with none of those problems and I rather like it quite a bit. Low stress and easy living is a nice change. The people are really super nice as well. Best of luck to you and your family.

That's messed up.
They really need to get cannabis off schedule 1.
Some police departments don't care about weed while others treat it like meth (because it's schedule 1).

I read the colorado law the other day on gifting.. you must put it in a child proof lock bag and then its legal to gift...doesnt matter if either party has no kids. Just fking rediculous the shit the come up with.
I can go buy a bottle of wine and give as a gift, dont need a lock bag for that ffs.
Also..if you go to a nonlegal state, you should be able to bring your meds with you along with your med card for verification.
Getting real tired of dumbass laws. Sorry just venting.

Makes me just scratch my head wondering where the logic is and wear these ideas are generated. Total absurdity. I heard similar logic on the radio yesterday regarding Oklahoma’s new transportation of marijuana from dispensary to dispensary... it had to be locked up and then placed into an area that is locked and inaccessible to the driver. Soooo the driver cant access the weed while he or she is driving? I must be missing something. Who had the key? Why are they making things so fucking complicated? It’s so pathetic.

That's the same way firearms have to be transported in Calif. Ammo separate from weapon and weapon locked away from driver.
