First off I have learned a lot from different sites but they don't give direct answers to certain questions.

I have 7 plants growing, 1 I planted about a week ago in plaon top soil and added miracle grow soil to it after q few days. I didn't know any better lol. The 6 others I planes 2 days ago on miracle grow soil. While all are growing 2 of the ones planted in the mg soil are as tall as the one is top soil. Should they already be 2.5 inches tall?

This is the week old

This is the light setup. Up until 2 days ago the week old one only had sunlight through the window. Now I have 2 flurecent (spelled wrong) lights on em.

what kind of light is that? Also what are you budget limitations with everything? how much experience do you have? the light can be alot closer. they are a little stretched but its not out of control i notice my seedlings like to stretch a bit before they throw that second set of leaves. If i was you depending on what kind of beans you have i would knock all the dirt i could off them and get them into some decent dirt.

you might lose a couple but they are so young they shouldn't have much for roots. pick up some good soil with no ferts in it. fox farms oceon forest is great and you can get a good sized bag for around 20$

edit: if your going to use top soil throw some perlite and coco or peatmoss if you can find some into it. depending on how much clay is in the soil.

My budget is non-existing lol. It's warm white flur. Now they are all in miracle grow soil. So its not the worst. I'll probably move the light closer. I'll be picking up heavy window plastic and foil on Tuesday and another bulb to put one above it. This is my first crop. Never grown anything at all until now lol but its coming along better then I expected.
