Anyone ever use google earth to map out their prospective grow area? Seems like a great tool to me.

YES.. Its great, I have found lakes and streams I didn't even knew existed, Till I used it. I definitely recommend looking at it before heading out. Saved me a lot of time.

I was wondering if someone like Lougrew ever took a look at his backyard when it was grow time! Haha.

I dunno' though, seems to me the satellite took one picture of everything and thats what they use...At least thats how it is for my area. Everything looks the same as it did 2 years ago...Even the white car goin' up Main Street.

I'm going to have to check it out around here...I KNOW there is a spot I used to play when I was a kid that would be great to grow at...It was a clearing with tree's all around it...Noone even knew it was there but me and my friends, so...Might have to check that out.

I'll have to check that out. A LOT has changed in this town the last few years...Things I didn't even know about. The school park added a giant playground...Several houses got built...Needless to say, I'm 20 at the moment, so I haven't been runnin' around town to notice these things for...Uhhh...About 4-5 years. Haha.

i like terraserver, better detail, but i usually use google maps, with a hybrid map so i don't get lost, lol, is google earth the same as google maps?

gps is a good tool for the out door grow as well enables you to come into your crop from different directions. no leaving beatin trails.

Poppy fields are everywhere in Afghanistan but that's because their DEA equivalent is about 17 guys with sticks I'm not kidding swear to god.. lmao
