Well, after stumbling upon my first grow and being able to see all the pictures from years ago; I thought it might be a nice idea to throw up another one of these grow journals to maybe stumble upon a few more years down the road. Please feel free to comment!

this time we have 100 diesel clones in each of the flowering rooms.
each room is about 5x14 feet and has a 4x12 foot table in it.
growing in rockwool cubes on top of slabs
Using AN sensi 2 part grow and bloom base nutrients.
using co2
drain to waste drip system
4x1000 watters in each of the room, exhaust is ducted into the other room to keep both rooms at proper temps, 2
will probably be lollipopping all plants as we are working in a very tight space.
temps @75night-90day(with co2 enrichment) I know its a bit hot but we are on a
limited budget and cant afford a/c or chillers atm.
rh is 30-50%
these first pictures are 7 days from being planted as rooted clones.
the babies went in nov 10, and I am planning on flowering on or around the 22nd to keep them small.

very nice... everything seems to be dialed in perfect! I'll be watching this one... did you veg the clones at all or did they go straight to flower in the flip rooms?

they are all still in veg, I have the flip flop doing lights 1 and 3 in room A and 2 and 4 in room B. so all plants are getting 24/7 light... ill put some new pictures up in a bit.... they are really starting to branch out...... it might be time to start lollipopping!

How much drip and how often for the plants? I do like the drain to waste. Better to manage tds and ph.

I am dripping until i see 10-15% runoff... alternating between stronger and stronger feedings and lower solution feedings in between to avoid having to flush. ill give a strong feed with almost no run off, then a lighter one the next day with more run off to compensate... I am using 3 drippers per slab and hand watering the cubes until the roots are established in the slab, 2-3 days... I plan to water the slabs max once a day....

decided to switch to 12/12 today!

10 days since I put them into the rooms, about 90% are doing excellent(avrg 6-8 inches tall) while 20-30 plants are smaller and stunted... Ive spread them out to try and maybe control the mayhem and possibly even out the canopy later on.... wish me luck:-P

on another note, does anyone have any experience with vitamix from grotek? http://www.grotek.net/en/products/product.aspx?id=115

Local hydro store keeps pushing vitamax on me when i go in to buy B52, they say its the same stuff, just cheaper. I have yet to take their word on it and try tho.

Very impressive! I hope you have a good scrubber, 200 Diesels are gonna put out some major fragrance.

I have 2 4 foot scrubbers, one in each room pushing air back into the other room.

I have been experimenting with vitamax and b-52.... vitamax does seem to be giving very slightly better results, howevever I will know better in a few more days!

Please let me know your findings between B52 ans Vitamax. The cost difference is huge at my local store, B52 being around $50 CDN per Liter and vitamax at less then half the cost. I assumed that they pushed growtek products because they have a beefy Gross Margin for the store, But if the product is better Im glad to save some money.

2 days into 12/12... i think i may have spotted some stem rot as a cause of the jiffys holding too much water in the rockwool blocks..... I will start watering only the slabs to give them some time to dry out a bit hopefully they will dry up and toughen up!

11 days into 12/12, the stem rot issue has taken 50 plants, the rest have recovered well and are starting to flower! I used 2 applications of ridomyl and sprayed the infected spots with h2o2 to get rid of the stem rot! I am expecting less yield as the issue stunted them a good week, however they are back on track and growing quickly!

I am trying to get my hands on some hempstar clones for the next round!

I just started some seeds which will probably go straight to 12/12.... 4 grape skunk, 3 dynamite and a hempstar that came out of some triple a smoke!

woooot just got my hands on a 400 watt metal halide! gunna start a small veg room so I can mess with my own plants a bit more!! funfun

So with the 'flip flop' deal, are you running a total of 8 ballast and bulb setups or is it 4 ballasts switching back and forth between rooms every 12 hours? If it's four ballasts, I'd really like to get some info on how you hooked them up so I could do a smaller version of it with 600s. For some reason I thought I saw either in here or another thread that there were ballasts being run 24/7 and switching from the bulbs in one room to the other room every 12 hours so two rooms are getting 12/12 from one set of ballasts.
