I just use it in soil, that's all. Other mediums I adjust the feed formula with PH up/down. I guess it's because I consider Promix a soil product, not soilless, which I guess is a technicality seeing as it is made from peat.
EVERY time you write something it's screwy. For starts, oyster shell is useless, it has no real world value since it can't be broken down into a salt that is available to the plant. It's listed on a package by the organic hacks as a marketing draw. "Wow, man, it's got oyster shell, bird feathers, eye of newt and guano...gots to be cool!"
