giving defoliation during flower a try

Yep, even his handle is childish. I can easily pick off the posers and the master gardeners based on what and how they post. A poser who knows little about what makes a plant tick will push a PK "booster". Yeah, it's a booster alright. It'll boost the leaves right off your plant.

But, since the clueless don't understand what a leaf is for, it's all good. :hump:
All I use is canna a&b with pk at week 5-6 . No leaves falling off but branches of bud bending ?

Uncle ben ur an idiot. Pk boosters do not make ur leaves fall off. Maybe u just dont know wtf ur doing. My leaves turn yellow and I pick them off as harvest approaches by reducing base nutrients and using water with an enzyme and carbohydrate supplement for my last week on all my runs. I have never experienced premature leaf drop from using such products. i force my plants to turn yellow when i want them too as harvest approaches which is what u want them to do.

Premature leaf drop is primarily an issue with ph or cal-mag in soilless medium and soil gardens. PH is the main cause of 75-80% of all problems for growers who dont understand how u need to change your ph during flowering esp mid flower to harvest. If u used bloom enhancers and "pk boosters" correctly u would know whoever came up w this shit is an idiot.

Pk boosters are used to trigger plants into finishing depending on what companies product u are using for example such product as h&g top shooter and booster use their pk boosters to trigger and force plant into finishing. This may lead to leaves turning a little bit yellow bcuz they have hormones that trigger plants to do that for a reason.

When u say premature leaf drop at what period are u referring? Because i run 9 week strains and i strip almost all of my leafs off at about the 8th week and i might have 3-4 leaves that i either picked off or fell off on very bottom which is completely normal. I just have a feeling u dont know wtf ur talking about seriously bcuz that statement is just plain stupid.

he doesn't take recommendations from people who aren't pushing something cannabis specific that he can profit from.
Thats incorrect statement, i like botanicare alot its a great product they arent canna specific at all. And they r one of my favorite nutrient companies you can use and i would recommend for anyone who wants to produce good flowers.

I also just started using aurora innovations soul synthetic line and the roots organics line and i like their products alot too. One part base nutrients, bloom enhancer and peak blossom booster and their amino aid. Having phenomenal results wit it right now.

image.jpg This isnt canna specific and its a great product. I just dont like dyna gro or that other bs u guys tell people to buy. This shit is cheap and it works awesome.

Got flowers as big as quarters on day 15 should b a good one.
image.jpg

Ill post pics as week 6-7 approaches show entire plant top to bottom ur not gonna see any leaf drop just huge colas swinging around. Not this bs u ppl say happens from running bloom enhancers cuz thats absolute bs period.

Get educated? You are a funny old codger (was that a Polaroid you used on that shot, or a Kodak?). I may not be a Grand Guru Master of mutha' fucking Ganja Growing, like you, but I have dabbled in horticulture for quite a while. Manicuring and the training of the growth pattern of any plant, no matter what variety of plant/shrub/tree, helps growth. HST/LST have all been proven to be successful methods of marijuana cultivation, no matter what the fuck you say, Fred. (That is what I am going to call you anymore, Fred, like in Fred Flintstone, because you are a fucking dinosaur) All those methods require defoliation, right? So why, do you insist that pruning is bad for a pot plant, or any fucking plant for that matter? Go have a Bronto Burger, pop Wilma, walk Dino, take a nap, and give me an answer from some other source besides you. (hugs)

You change PH for bloom? I have never heard of that, and it scares me to think about it. PH stability is paramount in my opinion, as that all change in it would do is inhibit uptake of minerals, which change in light schedule already accomplishes. I STRIVE to maintain 5.8 in hydro and 6.3 in dirt. Fluctuations at any time have proven to be bad for me.

Yes i change ph to 6.5 towards middle to end of bloom. I run promix/coco blend. As the soilless medium accumulates salts and breaks down the castings, humus and lime in the containers the ph drops so u need to increase the ph of your nutrient solution. I begin at around 6.1-6.3 thru veg and early bloom and i usually need to swing it up halfway thru bloom periodically as need be to around 6.5. Doing this i dont have any of the yellowing or problem many ppl get during mid to late bloom, like i said primarily when i see ppl getting that yellowing and leaf drop its because ph has dropped or risen to much in their rhizosphere and changes need to be made. It is not caused by pk or bloom boosters its an osmotic reaction in the root zone to break down in medium, so when adjusted properly u wont experience these issues. I know what they r referring too ive got a few customers had this problem and i fixed it by having them change ph going in and it usually solves it everytime.

I dont like running hydroponics but its also true in hydro systems. As plants change during flowerin the nutrients they need and absorb i find is better to have swings so they can uptake them more easily. I fluctuatue my reservoirs between 5.6-6.0 for optimal nutrient uptake as dif nutrients are uptaken at diff ph ranges so having these swings is beneficial than going in at same ph everytime u feed.

Its like this arguing is ridiculous. Everyone is right bcuz thats ur experience and opinion, not a matter of fact.

Its like saying: i think the sky is grey, while u argue and tell me its actually blue, so i have no choice but to stab you.

Get the point. Im not wrong in my beliefs and opinions on growing and neither are you. Am i wrong bcuz i recommend "expensive" canna specific nutrients, NO. Because in my experience i find they produce higher yields and better quality flowers, than using nutrients such as dyna gro or jacks bcuz thats my experience.

If you find u like those other companies better so be it. Im not the one who started this argument I was simply defending the slander and nay saying u guys started by telling lies to ppl reading this forum about me which arent true. I recommended a variety of nutrients besides advanced or canna and those reading this in its entirety understand that, not picking out certain words or sentences to construe their points and twist my words.

At the end of the day, if someone asks a question there is gonna be 50 different responses to get to the same result. Happy harvesting and keep on carrying on im tired of arguing over opinions, because he who argues the best will never lose. No matter right or wrong, trying to argue with someone who has a microphone will just make u look like a fool. For those who dont understand the saying, u guys have ur group of followers whose words r taken in high regard so no matter what i say whether my information or opinions are better im not going to be heard regardless so therefore its no point in trying to argue with those who vehemently believe that they are always right. Case in point the good majority of this entire post. Esp uncle ben because i have noticed u are never wrong about anything. Smh GL to all and happy harvesting.

PK_BOOSTER , it is a waste of time like you say. I'm back Chuck. Let's rock. Your PH sheet supports PK_boosters point that swinging the PH up and down is beneficial. Is that why you posted it? Bravo.

I have a feeling you never left,pk. i posted it to show that nutrients have a pretty big swing in ph tolerance, but changing it while growing, no, maintaining it, yes. Like I said before, A real grower reads his plants and adjusts, they don't follow AN feed charts, sorry buddy.

No ur wrong again. The ph in ur medium changes as salts accumulate and things like lime breaks down which is found in almost all mediums or oyster shell if u runnin coco. So u usually need to raise ph of nutrient solution during flowering. Bcuz that what causes the yellowing and leaf drop ppl see by time they add pk boosters bcuz the rhizosphere probably off. So swinging ur ph stabilizes nutrient uptake by giving it a better range to balance ur mediums ph accordingly which usually becomes acid as the grow time increases. Most soilless mediums are acidic by nature which is why we add lime and she'll to buffer it back up. But those only last for so long so stfu u dumb as fuck.

I use promix and only jacks, never ph, never have leaf drop and grow danker than you, so you STFU. how many people have to tell you you are stupid before you get it. the only person telling me i am always wrong is you Brobie.

We'll ur wrong so now there's 2 of us and I don't get leaf drop either and I love pk boosters cuz they work

We'll ur only person in world who doesn't have to adjust ur ph then using promos that's just simply retarded. Promix is acidic by nature which is why maybe u add a couple cups of lime to ur mix before u plant so maybe I don't have adjust as much.

Spaghum peat moss is acidic. Coco coir is basic, and needs no liming agents.

Most liming agents are very slow release, so unless you're recycling your soil it does nothing of benefit in the short term

I have customers who u oyster shell in coco supp calcium for same purpose as lime in sphagnum it's also a source of magnesium not just used for buffering but that's another topic off discussion.
