Just a piece of advice for you. I have done a few grows using MG ferts and soils. I would be a good idea to go with either a 10 or 12 inch pot. I never had enough room for the roots in the 8 inch pot. Always had to transplant them about a month before they were done. I have noticed that the roots seems to grow very well with the MG. The more room you give them the better the plant does. And MG soils seem to hold water a lot. I only watered mine, at most, twice a week.

I have never had a problem doing it. Most of the time that I transplant, the root ball is holding the soil together. So i just put it in the new pot and add soil around it. I never disturb the original root ball. Just add around it to make it as easy as possible on the plant. The I lower the nutes a little to allow for the nutes in the new soil to be used up. Usually by 2 weeks I am back at full strength.

i havnt given nutes in a while, not since early-mid veg cycle. and there are only trace of n-p-k in the sta-green i have but the plant seems to like the soil.

I will try finding a deeper pot that wills till fit in my box

Im starting to worry about my plant. It doesnt seem to have grown much at all in the last several days. its been under 12/12 for almost 2 weeks and seems to have started to hibernate almost. no activity with it. a few lower leaves have died, but only like 3 or 4... its not using up the moisture in the soil as quickly anymore and i dont really see much more indication of pistils (or balls for that matter) than there has been the last 2 weeks.

shoul di just keep trying to be patient or is something wrong here?

Perhaps you should give it a feeding of bloom nutes and see what response you get from the plant within a few days? If you haven't used nutes since early veg then you shouldn't have any fear of overdoing it. Give maybe 1/2 strength of the recommended dosage of whatever bloom nutes you've got, at the least.

But that's just my non-expert opinion!

my guess would be its swicthing over from growing veg to growing buds. if its only 2 weeks in flower.. but hmmmm i though most plants stretch their stems and continue to grow leafs thru out flowering. well until the end of flowering.

looks like a nute def to me add some FF open sesame since you're still pretty early into flowering... or hell maybe even beastie bloomz ... but hey im a newb myself so what do i know? best of luck bro!

I doubled the normal ammount of water i was giving and started to add the same nutes i was giving before, crappy miracle-gro house plant food, but DAMN she perked up a helluva lot. total night and day difference...

before all the leaves were dropped so much i thought i had over-watered but when i checked the soil it was dry as dust. but now, all the leaves are perked up and have a healthier color to them, they have perked up so much they are almost pointing upwards.

Do the pots have good drainage. The top of the soil may be dry, but the bottom of the roots may be under water.

By the way subscribed.

Well i just read this entire post and i haven't seen you mention anything about ph. Do you have a ph meter? What are you using to water? I find distilled water is the best.

it has decent drainage i guess, its a normal pot, one big hole in the bottom of it, the pot sits in a tray, just a typical pot. i dont water again until i can stick my finger all the way in the dirt and not feel moisture though, ive never had a problem with over-watering "yet" using this method, just a it of mal-nutrition. the soil has no nutes in it, and i wasnt giving any nutes for a while.

no PH meter, and i just use tap water. the soil has trace ammounts of NPK so im not sure what that does to the PH level.

Ok, Update. Its FINALLY starting to bud. the first day of 12/12 was 5/27. I thought the buds were just new nodes growing, until they grew out for another day or two and i got a better look at them as they got bigger, and even though you cant see it in the pictures very well, the "buds" are more or less a big clump of hairs.

I count 10 top bud sites. i cant see any bottom buds showing yet
