This is my 4th Grow and never happens an issue like this :) (Still i am a super newbie as my last weight for HLG240W light - 100Grams so i am not a good grower)

*My Soil - PH 6.8 / 6.9 So i put venigar when flush before plant the seeds.

*7 bubba auto kush from dina fem planted. (leave 6 hours in water glass then put into soil 1cm)

*I run a A/C outside grow room and it runs 27C for now

*Plastic pots 11L plus i drilled for better air circulation

*Grow inside temp around 28C - HLG Qb288 Lights on...Humidity around 60 - 65

*I had to put soda bottles time to time to protect moisture...But since i add lot of coir dust for better drain soil dries quickly...

*******BIG ISSUE ... After 4days i check but no luck but i see very small tap root

*******6th day no surface breaks or sprout 7 of 7

Now i am super panic as i target before April harvest...

I have 10 more seeds can i plant but i don't wanna loose..Is that a issue with my soil ? My issue is 7 out of 7 no luck :(

PS : I know germination go up to 14days but this will never happen to me most of the time it was 3 - 4 days max...today is 6th day

PPS : I am not sure about getting dried and how moisture soil as i am really confusing time to time..But i am pretty sure i never allow them to wet / mud it looks clean also never allows for total dry ...since i run a A/C its pretty quick dry....

Please Help Me guys! Please

Keep it simple. For seeds and seedlings - use untreated water (no ph, no nutes, no nothing).
I'm old school, I put seeds in a damp paper towel, into a baggie....check daily, when tap root is plainly visible, I put it into a peat pellet.
Keep moist, not wet.

Good luck

Solid advice above! I don’t ph I paper towel with ro water then in baggie somewhere warm for 24 hrs Then plant into container.. I use a spray bottle to keep top of soil moist and cover with Seran wrap till they brake the surface usually on the second day..

Thank you all of you. I am pretty happy how the family help me :)

just wait 20 days max, try and put a dome on them to keep the humidity up or turn off your AC.
If i turn it off it would much more heater than we all think.. Will rise around 32 - 33C is that ok ? Cause where i live normal was 30C right away my AC is 27 and my tent is always around 27 - 28C

Great advice! I never put nutes etc...just tap water after 24H ...but this time i forgot to leave 24H but since we collect tap water into 1000L tank (for household) i don't think there much chlorine and that's the problem....8days nothing pop up...really panicking as i am going run out my weed :(

Once again thank for helping me to make my day.

ahh i forgot lol then naw i would try make a dome at least. I have a theory but it is just that. it happened to me on my first grow though. my theory is that you are over watering them thus causing root rot and plant might have root rot and died that way but germinated. when i germinated 5/5 seeds on my first grow 3/5 didn't make it past germination due to root rot. left the plants in the plastic bag for 5-6 days. aired them out daily as well.

this is just my theory of course like you already know they can take a while to sprout just wait some and try not to over water. i literally water the same way i water my big plants. let them dry out before watering.

i planted the seeds on 1/8 4 days later soil is still moist i plan to water tomorrow night or monday morning at the latest it is literally close to drying though

I think they are dead i am not sure why....... I mixed venegar to water at first flush to lower ph may be thats the problem...now i am going to flush it with hot water (i doubt if soil has fungi and i can re compost later on - i am using super soil in local store ) and adding hydrogen peroxide for extra secrity and retry with 8 seeds... This is my 4th growth and never happend somthing like before :(

Why are you adding vinegar and hydrogen peroxide? Stop doing that. You also don't need a dome for seedlings. They are not clones.

If I had to guess, your soil was too wet and you put a dome on them. They probably rotted instead of sprouted. You want damp not wet.
I added venegar to lower my soil ph (actually i was high and didnt think much ) but now from sketch...so i wanted to kill fungus in case if there is any... tomorow i am going to sow new seeds again...i don't think its too wet for that as i left 24h in lights on and for better drain...

Super soil is not good for starting seeds!
i have no other option where i live..only that local store made super soil and just compost bag to mix with later on....:( but i had nice 3 times growth and about 200grams ..this is 4th and worse than 1st i am not sure why

I'm older school :D I put plants directly into a hydrated peat pellet in a little Jiffy Greenhouse, in a shoebox on a cool heating mat. In 72 hours I check, then check once every 24 hours. I pot them into pint pots when their heads are above the pellet. I keep them in a humid atmosphere under T5HOs.

idk much about super soil but what i got from little research i did over the past days was it's basically just Hot soil that people let break down over months/weeks. why? because they were made to feed your plants the entire grow. unlike other types of soil super soil shouldn't need a lot of feedings thats why when i see people using it or people tell me they barely even provide nutrients outside of the soil. most i've seen people using was compost tea and some form of bacteria like Urb, Recharge, maybe voodoo juice, etc..

basically shit is just too strong for your plants and can kill them at a young stage like seeds/seedlings. this is just my 2cents i have never tried it nor would even risk it i would transplant from solo cup into super soil because by the time they are ready they are a decent size to handle it but from straight up seeds? naw.

Thats all i got as soil (i am in a tropical island) ....Today i washed soil with a hydrogen proxide. To night i am planning to sow again.. Any advice on there. (in case if there was fungi etc now it should be fine right ?

After flushed with 3% hydrogen peroxide i again flush soil with clean water....since i use smart pot its drain fast now. This is going to do with 2 pots :(

This time i am really lost and loosing all my seeds..never happen before..BTW i still waiting for last germination batch for today its 2days completed no sign yet...

Cheers

idk if this will work but 1. try the paper towel method so you KNOW they have germinated. check them daily water when the paper towel is close to drying. 2. POSSIBLY flush your super soil to weaken the nutes. 3. dont even waste time Phing your water for now or adding vinegar to them.

i live on an island too but i can still get non super soil mediums in stores.

if you do paper towel method and they germinate fairly quickly your issue is likely the soil.

Not necessarily, a common reason for damp off in seedlings is bacterial and fungal infections from handling.

yea i mean im out of options seed bank is reliable, no need to add vinegar or peroxide for PH issues at this moment, besides soil being too hot im sure they can still sprout in it but hottest soil i've used so far is FFOF which im sure is nothing compared to super soil. so im still gonna stand by my theory that either it's a soil issue being too strong and seedlings can't handle it ( i have no experience with that so can't really say for sure ) or your watering practices. i literally water about 3-5 days for my seedlings.

i run my lights 24/0 thus why they dry faster watered just on sunday they were dry today so i watered again. my outside grow needs 5-6 days no matter what though for now soon it will be down to 4 days.

show us some pictures/make a video of your practices? maybe it will help us.

he was prolly putting dome to raise Humidity but im sure his humidity is okay to sprout them without one. wouldn't you want a higher humidity to help the process due to lack of leaves and they when they do sprout remove it? that is my theory kinda like clones basically.

im really out of options of what it could be besides the bacteria/fungus stuff as mentioned but i mean im not the cleanest mfer in the world when it comes to handling seeds with my bare hands.

Keep soil moist. Make sure it’s not too hot and humidity is up. I had a heat issue. My tent was getting up to 41 degrees Celsius when tent was closed. And humidity was low. Had to raise my 400 watt metal halide, drop a fan in there and some wet towels. And over night poof, my struggling seedling now has its first leaves.
