hey everyone i got a quick question about gh nutes....ive read my instructions in great detail...my when in veg 3 teaspoons of grow 2 micro 1 bloom very easy....

now in in bloom its 1 grow 2 micro and 3bloom, so if i have to get a high ppm lets say i start with 10 tsp of grow and that would make 20tsp of micro then 30 tsp of bloom to get a high reading. now if anyone knows anything about gh let me know if thats right i hope it is.....

but now to my problem is that useing say 10-20 tsp of micro is turning my rez a little purpelish cause of the dark color it has and now also it darkens my roots.....is this natural? is this right to see? the roots dont have rot i know its the micro.

also my ph is perfect im running an aero system so im not trying to see if i have a root problem i know its the micro i ust wanna know if this is normal.....

any info would be great....thnx alot...:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

I don't follow the amounts on the bottle - way too high ppm's for my taste. I use the 1:1:1 ratio for veg and the 1:2:3 ratio for flower. I start at about 100 ppm's for new seedlings and increase by 100 each week until I max out at around 900 ppm's. The micro will turn the water a brownish color and also discolor the roots a bit but if the roots are slimy and brown - you have a problem. Hope that's helpful.

To your first question, yes.

yes the discoloration is normal. The only roots i have ever seen that are bleached white are in week 2-3 flower tops and grower is using high % peroxide.

if you are worried about overfeeding them keep checking your ppm meter. That is what the other dick was trying 2 point out however he never actually said anything useful.

If the ppm drops significantly you know your not burning them. If the leaf tips become burnt and ppm's rise or stay the same you may need 2 adjust.

Density has more to do with light then nutes. Get ytour light as close as you can with out burning. Andmake sure you don't burn your plants with nutes. I have burn issues every time I use the "Full" strength as recommended by GH.

i have the lights real close no burn.......but my nutes r around 1000 ppm....should i go higher since they have been in bloom for awhile?

If you see no burning of tips and your color is a healthy green, not overly dark then yes. Alot of people find that GH at 50%is more then enough, but if your strain is handling 1000ppm then go for it. Just be ready to adjust if any signs of stress happen

its a great product....but i think im going to change the next time around i think i would like something with a bud boost that i can add to my nutes, gh is kinda not what i expected, but for the price it works great....

GH FloraNova is a full part application. it's proven absolutely excellent for me. Following the suggested ratios, I've only encountered the slightest nute burn, just be on top of things and know your plant.

i think it can apply to other nutes but im not sure. i just use the GH micro (8ml) and GH bloom (16ml) per gallon and that's it. i haven't had any problems since i started using lucas formula. actualy i use tap water (200ppm 7.5 ph) and use the GH micro hardwater and it's worked great. almost makes it too easy bc i dont have anything to do in my garden but stare at the sluts.
