We still deem it reasonable to have a king, who actually killed his older brother in a ''gun accident'', and the primne minister is suspected of robbing money from the government, or having had people do it. Dodgy shit. Last week the ex portuguese Prime minister got arrested for fraud too. Its a joke.

Politics and geo-economics son. The saudis are threatened by N.American shale (means Canada too)....shale becomes unprofitable when oil is $60/barrel so the saudis are pumping more to drive the price down so shale will stop producing

I like you singlemalt. You bring wisdom and experience to the board. I just bring childish humor.

I took micro and macro econ earlier this year and we talked about that a lot. I even did a power point on energy and how it affects the economy.

Netherlands, over half of that is tax. The upside is that I can't drive 100miles without leaving the country so don't need a lot anyway.
I was there in august man, i didnt have to buy diesel there cause id filled up in belgium, but i dont recall it being so expensive! Kanker!

@Sativied Do you like drum and bass? I drive to belgium a few times a year for it, the scene is really big now for some reason. I like the belgian people, a nice bunch, especially the dutch part.

Is that similar to raves in the 90s? Everyone likes the Flemish, they are a friendly bunch indeed. They should ditch the poor french part and give it to france, and join us again.

Where do you drive 'from'? Portugal or Spain?

Under $2??? No fucking way. Gas station yesterday was backed up like a mother fucker for $2.57.
That's what they were saying on the radio yesterday down here. I'm in Austin but in San Antonio it was $2.44/gal avg and they said due to higher production here in the states less cost per barrel and less dependence on overseas oil. I don't think it has anything to do with Obama because he's the one usually against digging and the Alaska pipeline and stuff.

2.46$ it's down so they can implement the gas tax hike that's coming to fix our infrastructure. Then the price will go back up when people quit talking about it. People get used to it at a lower price and then they jack the shit back up
