I ended up moving the hanging fly tape. the ribbon like sticky traps. Put them about 3 inches off the ground but not above the soil seems they all hang out under the pots or at the open holes for drainage. and i get more in the fly paper than in the vinegar is that normal? or am i maybe putting too much dish soap in the vinegar?

By the way my plants are showing the femaleness now from 5 days of flowering would going back to veg help or hurt them at this point? Was thinking about kicking it back to veg cuz of humidity. its 50% with 12.12 and 30% during 18/6. My basement stays moist and its been a warm winter here in the midwest. Just wondering if lesser humidity would make the gnats die faster. I did drop my temps about 702-74 day and high 60's at night. Just want the annoying b@st@rds gone.

Oh another thought. If you aren't fond of the smell of vinegar in your grow room.....wine works too. I've also purchased bright yellow paper and used double sided tape, made my own sticky fly traps for way less this way. I put said traps on my pots, so they sitting on the tops, under the plants.

Spraying GoGnats on my air pots has made me see a 90% drop in gnats. I used to see 10 of them flying around the light when I'd check. Now, I see none. I might see 1 every once and a while on the pots. They'll be gone soon enough.

Gonna feed them again tonight with 1tsp of GoGnats per 2 gal. The big plus is I love the cedar smell! :)
