full spectrum or just hps during flowering?

I know that all plants prefer full spectrum.....
I've read that mh lights produce uv rays, but hps do not.....also that uv rays have something to do with higher thc production.....
I know that mh light keeps internodes short and hps increases yeilds.......


Would it be better to use 3 600w hps or 3 600w hps and a 400w mh in a flowering room?

*600w HPS* *400w MH* *600w HPS*

OR

*600w HPS *600w HPS* *600w HPS*

? ? ? ?

Having an MH in the mix isn't going to hurt.

have you looked into dual acr lamps as found here ? High Tech Garden Supply

not sure how they yield but it certainly meets what you are trying to do

wouldn't hurt but would it improve anything? perhaps thc content?

maybe use mh to keep internodes short during veg and use both hps and mh during flowering to raise yeild and thc content?....

i can imagine it would hurt but since i havnt done this myself i would only be guessing.
but since the combination of both lights is closer to what the sun produces and we are basically trying to do the suns job with lights it certainly would seem like it would help

anyone every use LEDs? I've read serveral reviews and get mixed results..... some say it's the wave of the future others say it sux ass....... any opinions, comments, or results from experience?
