FUK! Just realized my timer wasnt on! Was on 24/0 instead of 12/12 for at least week

Guys im prob about 3 weeks into budding and i have crazy hairs big buds up top and lot of resin, about a week ago i went to check on em and turned the light on just to look at em. I changed the timer to on not leaving the timer on. So for about a week i was wondering why i wasnt getting more results. Well now i know. Am I ok? What do i do besides obviously putting it back on 12/12.

I'm still a noob, but from my understanding, a week of 24 hour light might have made them attempt to go back to veg mode. You might have delayed the harvest by about 3-4 weeks, someone else can chime in on that.

You are okay, going to get a better yield and bigger buds as a result of this because you kept them in the veg period longer than you had originally wanted. You can switch to 12/12 to start the flowering.

Yeah i switched back to 12/12 immediatly once i found out. I just hope i dont end up with hermies cuz of stress.

Yeah but you have more or less the same chance of herm. plants regardless of how long your plants were veging

Not even close. He was already 3 weeks deep into flowering.

This is why growers need to learn to perform a checklist of items every day. Always, always, always verify the timer is showing correct time and functioning. Always inspect for bugs, check for watering needs, etc, etc...

Not picking on the OP, it's just that I see these type of threads all the time and the shi is avoidable.

yeh i agree Serapis your not hating your saying the truth. I should really check up on it more.

Yeah that sucks big time...keep an eye on them and hopefully they won't hermie on you.

Yeah man, I agree with these guys, that you might as well keep 'em on 12/12. But, if you have no back up plans, and are in no rush, you could reveg them, then throw them back on 12/12 later. That'll take a hell of a long time though, and probably not worth the wait. Do you have clones already going, or new seeds?

Yeh I have new seeds going that are about a week old
