and today my ph and ec meter came, but i forgot to buy batterys... lol

she is growing slow, in one thread i read about high ec levels makes plant short,bushy.. Is that true? Cause my plant also short and really thick stem she has...anyway tomorrow i start to check ph and ec... I know Ph should be 5.8, but how much EC for 25 days old TD??

I did my harvest last night and the cupboard is now TD's..She is under 400w HPS in cooltube and she has airfilter,circulating fan,intake fan...etc...
and temp of the res. is 19C... How much should it be??

Hey guys,

I've just changed the reservoir. PH is 5.8, PPM is 350. I am going full strength of nutes now, but it still little low isn't it?? Seymour's EC was 1.2 at same age, mine is around 0.6 i think!! (My TDS meter is only showing ppm and uS) So what can i do for higher the ppm??She's seems to me little small when i compare them with others..Around 25 cm high...

Quick update:

Ph goes to 6.5 and PPM was 366 when i woke up. Added some water to take PPM down to 350 again and PH down for 5.8 PH..If some one reads this please answer. Should i try higher nutrient solution (more than Hesi recommendation)to make PPM 600 or around 600..???

If your ppm is rising and your ph is increasing youre feeding too much.

Around this point id be about .6 to 1.0 ec depending on plant.

I have a plant on day 42 begging for 1.1 plus

i read that temp. issues causes high ppm and Ph, make plant sweating. Is it true. Because i saw water on some leaves which is covered by big fan leaves.Is that sweat??
 
That also makes sense, which is why its always suggested to use a lower dosage if you are in high heat. What are your temps at the plant tops?

Yeah they sweat from the undersides of their leaves. I notice that on my leaves on every plant. Well the bushy ones that have leaves on top of leaves.

It's around 25-26 C . on top of the plant and res. temp is 20-21 C.


When i changed my res 2 days ago PPM was 350.These 2 days added 2 L fresh water to res. and now PPM is 360. PH always raising to 6.2 - 6.4 from 5.8 and i down it with GH ph down(2 times during the day). It seems to me she is not eating too much but there is no negative sign or stress on plant
 
Hey man just checking things out seeing if you need a hand. Only thing Ill add from what I read so far is that I try and only ph my water once a day. To much ph up and down usage is bad. There a highly concentrated acid or base so not something you really want to be using a lot of. Ph swings are ok. 5.8-6.2 is pretty normal and not going to damage the plant. It is actually taking up different nutes at different ph levels.

Also if your adding tap water and not RO water it will change your ppm due to it coming out with stuff in it already.

i realized that my res. temp is high at 23.5 C / 74.3 F. so now i am freezing some bottle but i should find a better solution. My cupboard temp is 26 C / 78.8 F so its ok for plant but roots are locking their selves i think. they are not eating too much, sweating and not growing big enough when i compare.I removed some water and add fresh phed water to res. and PPM is down to 316 from 380.
 
I did some changes today in my cupboard.This frozen bottle is working but i am lazy to check every hour and change the bottles, ... so, i took the air pump outside of the window so its blowing cold air to the res. and build a protection box for rain and snow.Now water temp down to 18-19 C.I changed the res. water again but less nutes in it. (130 PPM and PH 5.8). Last two hours i am watching the res. temp. stabilized but PH up to 6.2 and PPM 136. Don't understanding whats going on. IT really could be an algae.
 
and here is the good news.. After i changed res., took my pump outside the window and the help of the ice bottles it start to recover i think.
Before i go to bed i set the PH to 5.8 and the PPM was 165. When i check in the morning ph was 6.0 and PPM was 135. :clap::D :D i added phed water and some HESI grow to take the PPM to 185. I hope she will love and eat.
 
I grew some of these a few months ago they came out really nice one was way more fruity but yielded less 2 of them had the AK leaf morph and the 3rd yielded the most

Watch out for cal/mag if you get a lot of light on these baby`s and they respond well to being topped but you have to do it before the pre-flowers open.
