Right !
Everything else is good, had to slightly restrict the outflow from the pump with the shutoff valve.
It was ever so slowly pumping more than the drain could handle... = overflow !
Still waiting on the ballast to arive too.

my wife is going to make me a bracelet with the beads from my last order,, lol,, congrats on the seeds!!!,, hey take a look at my wardrobe, I kicked some butt on it today, I think I can sprout seeds in the next day or 2

I am going to put my seeds right in my little rock wool starters from the beginning so that I don't have to risk the taproot being damaged.

Question, anyone...
Which end of the seed should go down when sowing?

I drained the tray and got some black permatex gasket maker on the drain.
Hopefully I will be firing up the AeroGarden in the next few days.?.?.?

Pointed end down but no worries they seem to right themselves anyways if you dont.

your going to sprout your seeds right in rockwool , is that correct, also great choice one strains, I would love to grow some jack, arnt those both sativa blends?,, I am getting out the seed starter tray I bought 2 months ago and going to read the instructions, maybe you could post some pictures of your plant and sprout process again since your doing it a bit differant

Seeds are in my AeroGarden starter cups about a half inch down.
I add a little water to the lid and it gets wicked up from the bottom.
I lost my last 3 seeds because I had them too wet for too long.
They fermented and rotted.
NOT this time... hopefully.
I'm such a noob...

All 3 have popped and have a nice 1/4" or better taproot heading south !
If I feel that the RW is too wet, I just sit them on a napkin and the water telegraphs our real quick.
Waiting for the heads to pop up....

Hey Fish, can you give me a realistic idea of how much noise the airpump makes that your going to use, I understand that it is obviously acceptable noise for your cab, But I am really interested in using this dwc type set up but I need to know if the airpump is more of a hum,, or a whirl? or does it sound like a pc fan, and how loud, sorry if this is asking allot,, thanks Fish

Take a look at this thread, they use a tub sorrta like yours, and airstones, and they give some good pics of thier roots, and PPM levels and the use of hydrogen peroxide for root health in this type of set up,, plus they rocked the harvest under less light than what your going to use,, gives some fantastic hope for your future harvest also
