free buckets!!!

does anyone have any ideas on how i could get some free 5 gallon buckets? any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated

its a tough one to find man all the places i asked said sure but they were ether full of oil before or cleaning suplies and i didnt want to just clean it out... didnt want to take the chance. i know down here there only like $4.50 at rona or get some of them 5 gal cheap actual flower pots over here there only $1.25 and a flower shop.

I would say your best bet on a budget is, grow bags. Grow bags are very cheap and quite strong.

oh, and i need the buckets for watering, not for growing in. so those nursery pots wont really work for me.

i get em from my work all the time for free. alot of fast food chains will have some that their pickles come in

Agree with last post regal8r.......Burger king gets there pickles in them and they go through about two or three a day they usually throw them out first thing in the morning......have a friend that works there......damn that reminds me....where the fuck are the ones i asked him for

i only use buckets and i get them all for free at the grocery store. go to the bakery section and ask if they have any. they usually do and are psyched to get rid of them. i make sure and rinse them out in the bath tub at least. you can bleach them or somethin if u really want.

Hit some construction sites where they are putting up drywall. Get their empty buckets, they will be fine. Just dont open the ones that are closed. Some dry wallers are pigs, they shit and piss in the buckets then leave them for someone else to clean up.

eww pickel smelling weed! naw just go to the dollar store their not 5 gallon but just get trash bin thats what i grow in!
just rinse it out a couple times with hot water and no trace of pickles whatsoever, and to who replied to my first post, i work at bk also so thats how i knew :) lol

edit: they also come with watertight sealed lids...its what im going to be using for my dwc when i can get all the other supplies :D
