There is a dude on some of the Reddit grow forums who’s done this several times now. He’s grafted like 20+ strains onto a single plant and successfully flowered at least 2 runs like this.

The user is /u/BountyBotanicals. The link is to their most recent post about one of their “frankenmother” updates. Check their profile for several similar past projects, updates, and so on.
Edit - I believe their reasoning for doing this was because of flowering-stage plant count limits. They’d pop a bunch of seeds, and take clones. They’d graft clones onto one or 2 moms, to test run 20-40 different cuts at a time, while staying within their legal limit.
That's super cool, and I will give that a go one day too. Idk if I'll be able to access that many donors in the set amount of time.
I'm trying to get a perennial girl who will produce all my favorites each year.
If he can do 20 per root stock I should be able to get at least 4 or 5 on each "foot stock"
Yeah, the dumbest part is there's no distinction between life phases like MN it's 4 for veg and 4 for bloom in VA it's just 4plants period

How about 2 to 10 (or even 20+) strain micro TC propagated clones, all micro-grafted together right in the same tubes they can be shipped out in, so they are ready to be acclimated to your grow space and take right off? All the hard (very technical & time consuming) work already done in a lab, with sterile procedures & under aseptic conditions..
Imagine being able to legally grow 30-40 strains in your little tent in just a few months, and sample a whole smorgasbord of genetics without having to pop through 100s of seeds, etc. Can even select different root stocks that might be more suited for a certain style you grow, etc. Like, what happens if you use Jamaican lion as the root stock?....
Anyway, that's what I been dreaming of lately. I already know it is the future, but hoping to make it a reality soon!
