no you don't cause I didn't ask your opinion on them.. when you can tell me what caused that problem and what the actual problem was, then you can chime in

Hey bro I use all 6 FF nutes and I like them, your thread sparked my interest cus I have been thinking about trying some AN lately. Why do you care so much about organic? I would go with what works and as long as you give a good flush you should be fine. Is the difference really that big between FF and AN? Subbed up to see your conclusion.

Don't know if this has anything to do with it but usually when I go into flower I go complete dark for 48 hours, this time they just went into 12/12.. I'm wondering if that dark period really does speed up flowering

WRONG.. And thanks but no thanks I really don't need your advice. You should actually read a def chart because that's not even close to a zinc def. But since i like you so much ill give ya a free roll

hey man, i have personally never used fox farm, but i know more than one person who has before, in fact i kind of did a write up here ----> https://www.rollitup.org/nutrients/413573-bloom-vs-fox-farm.html#post5394111 <---- to compare a bit to "BLOOM" (what i use) and a friend using fox farm on all of the same strains, clones and seeds, maybe you should check it out. i know advanced is similar to Bloom so its just a suggestion.

my advice for you though, would be to use LESS than what is recommended on the granules at least. that shit is potent with some having parts of the npk like 50 or more... its too strong. but there is also stuff it doesnt get like advanced or bloom has. like a pk, cal mag, and i think humic acids, but i could be wrong there.

any way, one friend that uses fox farm loves it, but yields less per plant and admits he likes my weed alot more, but doesnt want to spend as much for nutrients as me. ( the friend i did the side by side comparison with)

and the other 3 guys i know that have used fox farm all say that they yield less than what they are using now. (most are using house and garden)

Howz it goin Max! heyya bro in my flower mix i run per the FF schedule, i add in 1/2tsp hormex, 1tsp cal-mag, and Cha-Ching last 3 weeks or so depending on how my budz are looking. ya should look into trying some mycomadness the shit does the microbial thing and seems to help uptake also. i just sprinkle a thin layer on top and as i water it works down. good luck bro, skip the trolls N schills! :joint::peace:

My buddy that has a hydro store gave me a free jar of the mycos madness but I haven't tried it yet.. Was gonna do some research on it before I gave it a shot. On the directions it doesn't say whether to use it once or with every watering so I was gonna do a little more reading.

well just checked my ladies and I have to make one observation, In my opinion the advanced nutes out performs when it comes to the beginning stage of flowering.. At this point I know for a fact that when using the an's that my ladies would be ALOT fatter at this point. I am not gonna comment on taste, odor or anything else JUST THE SIZE. I'm not giving up on the FF i'm just sayin DAMN what a difference chemicals make lol

I use foxfarm to grow an afghan/skunk hybrid, 12 wk flowering period, i only use the dry compounds as i find the wet ones are harder to control, 1.5 tsp to a gallon of water of "open sesame" ph'd at 6.0 for first 5 weeks, then 4 weeks of 1.5 tsp to gal "Beasty bloomz" ph'd at 6.2, then finish with 3 weeks of "cha ching" 1.5-2 tsp per gal ph'd 6.3 then a one week flush, works perfect ever time.

Whats your average yield per plant?

LOL thats how i got mine too, i tried to run it in DWC but it turned my solution to jelly, so i run it in soil. i believe it was sarapis or bricktop that was saying tobrew it for awhile to avoid slime bloom.

im in soil and from what I have been reading you should use about half the rec dose and you only have to use it once. But chemicals fert will kill it too

ya i did notice they looked like they had plenty of N and for some reason my plants did that exact same thing. i have all FF line up and it seems to me that during veg i use half dose of grow big. then flush before flowering, and while in flowering i use what the chart says, and add molasses as for whether or not your yeild will be any better or worse i cant say man all i can say for certain is that my MJ grown with FF line up is very very tasy and smoothe not to mention full of trichs, and super potent. would i use anything else? no. maybe some bloom additives in the future. gl man

Ever seen "Good Burger?" Its basically the same thing ha ha. You might get a huge yield from AN (MONDO BURGER) but with FF (Good Burger) you might not get the size you were looking for but the end product is amazing. I just figure if AN was soooo good why would they have 50 different products that basically do the same thing. It is just a marketing gimic for you to spend more money. I have some AN nutrients that I will be using next go around to see the ACTUAL difference between the two. (not saying you are wrong, I just want to experiment myself) Alot of my friend swear by AN but as for me I am a simplistic type person and buying 13 products to mix together seems ridiculous to me. As far as additives go, I haven't seen a HUGE difference in using FF's additives, but there is a slight difference at least in resin production.

My advanced lineup is sensi bloom a and b, big bud, bud candy and calmag.. Not to bad and I'm getting well over 2lbs per light. I know if you use the sensi bloom in soil or promix then you should def add some dolomite lime. Ran into a ph problem in promix bx cause the lime in it had depleted and the peat became acidic which was locking out my magnesium. they say ph to 6.2 but I think 6.5 would be a safer bet in soil
