i'd suggest sterilizing the soil. fungi problems can real bad. the spores travel up the stalks and can use your buds as a substrate.

The mushrooms won't hurt anything...I have all manner of mushrooms sprouting up in my garden, because I used a truckload of mushroom compost, and manure to make the whole plot...Mushrooms are just indicative of a healthy soil, and mushrooms make and take their nutes in more from the air around them than the soil or what not that they are in...

Ok, mushrooms get their nutrients from the substrate, not the air around them, but mushrooms give back, breaking down complex molecules and returning more basic ones, the kind plants like. Fungus are the great decomposers, the things that return everything back to the earth. I feed my tomatoes spent mushroom substrate (read compost) and they love it.

This. And they're pretty. Look at all the tiny fruiting bodies just breaking soil. cn

Fungi often are to the advantage of plants as they break down complex molecules into more soluble states, they are also good at transporting and keeping moisture.
I'd be worried about fungus gnats indoors though...

Those look like "inky caps", if the deliquiese then they are - they are an indicator of good compost not quite ready to be used. If one eats them for some ungodly reason, one should avoid alcohol as even a few drops will make the eater/drinker rather ill.
