I don't flush until they stop using fertilizer, or a day or two before harvest...which ever happens first. There is no need to flush for weeks, flushing for a day or two and you will see a lightening of the shade leaves, which means they are beginning to cannibalize themselves for nutrition. At that point they are flushed.

The main strain I have now keeps growing right up until harvest. The last three or four days before harvest, all of the buds bend over and point downward from resin weight.

Your plants look great BTW, good job! I was fortunate to have a really good harvest my first go at it, gives you a lot of confidence.

I have not stopped the nutes and I can see now tha a few day's of flushing will do the job. I am learning a lot on my first grow and I'm really enjoying it. I like going in to the room after the lights come on and I can tell any change in the plants I like to look at them and clean up any yellow leaves. I had my nutes at 1100 ppm and as I have replaced the water the ppm has gone down to 460. I hope to do a better job with the next grow. Thanks

Most strains will hit a point in flowering where they stop using fertilizer. You will know when you get there. When that happens I only give them Epsom salt, or cal mag, at 20 ppm every time I top off until the last 24 hours when I give them water only.

If they are using fertilizer, they are still growing.
