Flushing nutes out (pH)

Ok, here's my thought.

If a plant is sitting in soil and is under a nute burn situation. (I guess hydro would fit, but a newbie on that front)
pH corrected water makes those nutes available to the plant. (more burn, no?)

So wouldn't it make sense to flush with water pH'd to lock out those offending nutes? Then for the last gallon use the correct pH water (since thats the water thats gonna hang back)??

yea, no doubt.. I have a hydro setup.. switched from 1/2 strength to full strength and some of the leaves within a day or two showed signs of yellow tips so I flushed the reservoir with ph nuetral distilled water and let that flow through the system for 2 days and the plants recovered nicely.. back on 1/2 strength...
