so this started out 2 weeks ago with blown spots on my lower leaves....i was told be many people on here that it was nute burn so flushed and cut back nutes and i thought it was fixed because it started growing again. a few days ago the the leaf TIPS started yellowing on the lower leaves and now its progressed to the new growth. i flushed again but its still getting worse. im at total noob so i have no idea what to do. i've looked through the forums and i thought it was a pH problem cuz my meter is at 6.9 which is a little high but my run off pH is super low plus i have NO idea how to fix a pH problem. now im kinda thinking NPK defficiency but i dont know.

any thoughts?

Over Watering:
The plants in figure 5 were on a continous drip system, where nutrient solution is constantly being pumped into the medium. This tends to keep the entire root system completely saturated. A better way would be to periodically feed the plants, say for 1/2 hour every 2-3 hours. This would give the roots a chance to get needed air to them, and prevent root rot and other problems.
Don't be throw off by the fact that the plants in figure 5 are sitting in still water, this is actually an H2O2 solution used to try and correct the problem. Adding an airstone to the tub would also help add O2 to the solution.

your watering until you have runoff every time and flushed twice the plant is drowning the roots need oxygen

put 6.7PH water in and check that the runoff is around the same. if not - add more PHed water. thats how you balance PH.

your lower leaves seem to suffer from PH changing and the upper growth from Nitrogen Defficiency.
check your ph and give the plant some high N fert.

well my first instinct would be to say you have a nitrogen def.. with all the flushing and cut back of nutes, im sure your girl is hungry... hitting with a good dose of nutes would be ideal and also tell the story... wait until she is dry and ready to feed before hand... you dont want to over water...

part of me still wants to mention the following... nute solution ph, run off ph, and the actual soil ph have VERY little to do with 1 another...

your nute solution should always be ph'd out before feeding... you ideally want around 6.5 for it... this will keep all nutes within range to be absorbed by your plant...

soil ph is, well, the soil ph... in order to check that you need a soil ph test kit... just because the water you are watering with is in range doesnt mean that the soil is.. if the soils ph is out of range then it wont matter what your water ph is... the nutes will get locked out.. you may want to consider investing in a soil test kit and checking the actual ph of the soil.. they are fairly cheap.. and if you do have a ph problem in your soil, you'll find out... how to fix the soil ph is for another thread tho...

run off ph.. well.. its pretty much a worthless read out.. run off contains salts that have built up and other shit that was trapped in the soil.. it does tell anything about the soil itself or the water you are feeding with.. really, its not worth the time or stress reading it...

Thanks for the help everyone!

first i'd like to say im pretty positive im not over watering because i make sure the soil is totally dry before putting water or nutes in. it was dry when i flushed the first time , then i waited for it to dry out again and i gave her a 1/4 strength dose of fox farms big bloom and tiger bloom. i waited another week before the second flush and she was wilting a little so i know it was dry then. all this was done over a span of 3 weeks.
second is i pH all my water and water/nute solutions to between 6.8 and 6.5(colored drops so i cant be exact). i have a two way moisture/pH meter you stick into the soil and it gives you a reading. it always says my pH is 6.9. what is it im doing wrong?

thanks again for the replys everyone i guess i'll give her a feeding when she dries out...probably throw a little Grow Big in for the nitrogen?

water less and more often , salts build up in the soil , some the plant lets out to balance the soil PH at the roots, other in the ferts

you'll have to work that out , it depends on the soil and how fast the plants are taking up the water ,, i have mine in three gal containers i use .5 liter every two to three days then feed with 1 liter so i get run off
