I already use half strength for my nutes, should I still continue to half that 2nd and last week? I'm very confused as to all the off topic replies...
Im not a big syn grower.. Idk if that's what ur doing.. I use to leech.. Which i call flushing.. The soil.. U can't flush a plant... Doesn't work... But i usually leeched aboit 3 weeks before harvest.. Then i fed very little.. Just what it needed.. Or i thought it needed... Syn is a mess imo.. I think organic is the tits.. Never have even though of flushing my organics... One.. No need... 2..doesn't work.. 3..how could u flush a living amended soil... Iv leeched my organic grow due to lock out.. It was a fingers crossed deal.. And it actually worked.. W some kelp and humic

I reckon taper down too. But only after the plant starts to eat less.
Then you just keep tapering down.
Gives a really nice fade

I did an outdoor Cookie/Gelato cross in a homemade super soil last year. The plant was a mutant displaying three fingered sugar leaves almost half way through veg before I started seeing fives. I've vut in the past both with and without flushing with caddywompus results. Sometimes flushing made a difference, other times I just couldn't tell but I haven't done a side by side either. Maybe I'll do that this season.

Last season I cut nutrients 16 days prior to harvest and flushed every other watering with HCO Killer Tea. I've got this hydro shop here in the east bay that bro me with killer deals since I bring them any number of super hot chile pepper plant starters every spring. So the gallon of KT only cost $11 so I went for it. I usually coast all season long on Emerald Cup schwag and freebies but I could only finagle a KT quart sample outa the Humboldt County's Own booth last year so I wanted to keep it going when I ran out.

I flushed all four plants with the same regiment last fall and then moved them into complete darkness for 3 days and THEN cut them down and hung them. The flavor, smoothness and potency are superb and thus are still being very much enjoyed even as we speak!

This here's the Cookie/Gelato...

I might not be a REAL grower but i flush its an old habit that dies hard.

Although ive heard enough shit from you all that im going to not flush one of my single buckets just to see.

I agree if you run max ppm at all times you will have shitty burning bud.

Most feed charts taper up to 4 weeks then taper down .

I like to see the fade i hate dark green looking buds :)
I like that shit to be money green lol
