Flowering

I was just reading over the How To Grow Marijuana thread and read that after you grow a mother and cut clones you can put the clones straight into the flowering stage. Is this true?(Btw, I know how noobish this sounds) Will someone please explain this.

This is true but you have to root the clones first it take about two weeks. I would recommend growing the clones out a bit too or you won't get much yield.:peace:

Yes you can, AFTER the clones have completely rooted. it usually takes about 2-3 weeks before you can safely put them into flower. SOG growers do this alot so they get a constant supply of bud instead of 1 big harvest.

damn...beaten to the punch.

yes this is true. Some people just grow big moms then take like 9inch cuts and put them into their flower room. It is called Sea of Green of SOG. ScrOG is different. Look it up. Good luck

the clones will be as ready to flower as the mother was when you took the clones, if u do flower right away, you'll probably get a single staulked plant no taller than two or three feet, uless ur fudged on room or somethin I'd veg em first and get em strong before ya flower em but do what chu think is best, good luck brotha

Thanks yeah, this is my first grow and my mother plant is planted and sprouting so Im thinking ahead. I just want to grow a plant or two and see if I can actually get some plants and buds harvested. Thanks again, this website has a wealth of knowledge on growing.
