FLoJo's Vertical Round 3: Grand Daddy Purps + CO2 = Good Times!

Hemp, i like the trainwreck a lot, its just unlike anything out there... mine is from an arcata cut so i know its the real deal.. i dont know how close the ones from seed are..

but the tw is a very viney plant, its kind of a low yielder, however the buds it does produce are rock hard like outdoor nugs! it smells like a lemon pine sol mixed with gasoline or something... really heady at first then just hits you like a.. well train and makes you stupify.. verrrrrry tasty tho indeed, you will like it

and it is pretty fast for how much sativa is in it, i think i let it go about 60 some odd days, but i could have easily chopped it at 50 to be more heady.. its all what you prefer.

and Frog, i have always grown in rockwool in the past.. i freakin love the stuff i think it doesnt get much better.. allows for a much larger root mass than hydroton, more stability, and is not nearly as big a pain in the ass to deal with.

and the tray is a 3x3 but i imagine i will get about 30 or so in there.. ill try for 32.. may try more i just have to see how i can squeeze em in without messing with any of my other girls light in the vert

as far as the ones on the table go, i have the clones rooting right now, they will probably end up getting flowered at about 6 inches, and hoping to get about 1/2 oz from each for a total of 1lb off the table

the ones in the vert i am waiting till they get about 15 inches before i flip them, and planning on about 1oz from each of the 65 ladies which would mean 4lbs

this will put me at about 1gpw and anything over that is just gravy.. grand daddy purp is supposedly not a great yielder so i am trying to keep that in mind

i will probably not need to do anything with the kiddos on the table, because i will be flowering them so small they shouldnt need much support, however the larger ladies i will be either setting up a trellis net, or individually tying up each one.. just depends on how the growth looks since i have never worked with this strain

the back wall has 10 plants per row, the sides have 3 or 4 per shelf (i put dual cola plants and thick bitches on the sides and then there is a row of 10 on the door side, with a 3 and a 4 on one side, and the side with the drain is empty.

the side with the drain is empty because i have an agent orange that i will be tying up in the corner.. right now she is about 2 feet tall and in a 8 gallon container.. i imagine she will fill up a good amount of space LOL

and its hard to tell but there are actually 4 lights hanging vertically in the middle
the inner dimensions are 4ft by 8ft and i have each set of lights with exactly 2 feet on each side, and a 4 ft gap between them.. it would have been more efficient to add rows in the middle as well but hey live n learn i suppose LOL

fill dem biatches in :bigjoint:

will be interested in turn-around devided by total days... oh, yes, i will be paying very close attention mr. vertical grower. what was that formula again? grams per watt per day?

we'll see.... we'll just see about this....

:D

FJ - Sounds like a packed house! 1gpw seems modest with those kinda numbers, but gravy's gravy!

grams per watt per day?

we'll see.... we'll just see about this....
.
What's this? A gpwpd contest? Deal me in on the next round...

lol to be honest i dont really care about the whole gpw/gpwpd/gpkwh/etc

i just wanna see how much weed i can squeeze outta this little room from day one of flowering till the day i chop chop LOL

and man ill tell ya, its so crazy how resilliant these little bastards are.. i went ahead and said fuck it, ill do some experimenting and have been letting it get 90-95 with 1600 ppms yesterday and today and they are growing like an inch a day LOL i have one squirly sativa in there that is curling up a bit but the rest of em fucking love it, its insane! depending on how well they do in veg i may just try em out in flower with 90-95 degrees and 1600 ppm of co2

ya its pretty odd, all of the gdp and the juicy fruit are mostly indica and they are standing straight up at attention and growing like... well weeds and the lone sativa that got in there is tall as hell but showing heat curling at the edges so i donno.. ill probably end up tossing it out i guess we will have to see

will be checkin in on this FLoJo! really inspired by the 2nd round am gunna be tryin to construct a small scale version this summer. what are you gunna use for the flood table in the middle ebb and flow?

welcome back DaGambler.. i am a dirty co2 dog indeed haha

and westcoast1, i will be using the ebb n flo table for the clones that i have pictured.

they should be rooted in about 4-6 days, at that time i will go ahead and transplant them into the large rockwool cubes, give them 2 days or so to get used to the big lights, and as soon as i start to see new growth i will flip the room to 12/12

i will have 25-30 clones in the ebb and flo table, and flowering from clone am hoping to get about 1/2 oz per plant more or less. by this time the big girls should be about 12-15 inches and will be expecting an oz or more per plant..

again these are just guestimates because i have never worked with this strain, or these nutes, or co2 for that matter LOL but i have a pretty good idea how it will turn out...

GREEN!
