Well bored so time for this weeks pictures.Still giving them 6.8 ph water with a mix of molasses, and bat guano to up the phos. They get thier daily co2 and are taking forever but very crystalized.Looks like they will have bigger colas then the aero setups but the plants are much bigger so thats that. Its killing me to wait this long lol

looks very nice, and wish i had a set up like that. im getting there. give me a year and i bet i will have it. its just a slow process.

Yeah its basically a matter of space as the setup was cheap figure $0.60 each for the 3 gallon pots. The 1000 watt ballast cost me $45 with a free new bulb. The reflector I got for $25 used and the soil cost me like $28. Then a simple inline fan for in and out each cost $24 new.Dampers cost me $30 for the set and then the 2 timers cost me $25.I borrowed the propane tank heater so tank of propane for making co2 was $15.So more or less only cost about $200 for the grow setup. Then just a ton of time growing this way. its looking like the flood table in the tent will catch these soon and probably finish before these even though these soil plants have about a 3 month headstart.

In this soil grow I used just the miracle grow moisture control soil it has its own nutes. Then week 2 of flower I used the bat guano high phos kind from sunleaves the indonesion bat guano and then I give a dose of molasses every 2 nd watering and the other waters I add sugar daddy. These will also get a add of Humbodlt countys gravity to harden the the buds .Other then that no real nutes added just suppliments the MG soil does the rest using ph 6.8 soil. I use mostly Fox Farm nutes for my aero and hydro grows but am using Dutch Master nutes in the flood table in the tent journel I have up also.

well im about to start over with some seeds that i have germinated and i put them in peet sacks, the kind you add water to and they rise, from like home depot. ill start there, but i was looking at some of the other posts and saw a flora nova product and was wondering the affective ness of this and if you recomend it. cuz i know i will bend backwards to find exactly what i need to have a great grow, i just need practice and guidence. thanks for your replies. ttyl

Havent used the flora nova.I know its kinda hot mix and not very forgiving though so what amounts.Dont use those pellets!! those ar bad bad bad.Your better off just planting in soil if you dont have rockwool or at least coco coir.

im not sure if were on the same page with the pellets. i bought them from home depote and you add water and they rise and fill with water, and you set the sprout in the pre drilled hole. i pack the hole then reopen it for strength. but they seem to be doing fine i guess. or am i about to fined out the hard way. hope you reply befor i find out.lol is there a better way to conversate about this or is by blog the safest?

Yeah those are bad to use the jiffey peat pellets they hold to much water foul up hydro systems and they effect ph just bad little things. Your much better off with rockwool or right in the soil. The pellets have that wrapper too that restricts roots so dont forget to take it off

Been about 2 weeks since last picture update so that time is here again.I gave them few waterings of added molasses and some indonesion bat guana.Next week the Humbodlt couty gravity comes in. All seems well not really any yellowing at all but doesnt really happen much in MG soil.Colas got heavy so added some bamboo stakes to stop leaning as the colas are pretty large and are fillng in nicely. Did I mentio soil takes forever so wont be doing another for awhile as I need the real estate and light lol.Anyways heres the updated pics I got a bunch for no reason..

Actually the dirt is killing me.Im used to pulling 2 or 3 harvest in aero by now.Its been a reminder why I dont grow dirt anymore thats for sure.Ill be going back to aero and flood tables soon.I told these plants to hurry and get done.I almost forget how long they been growing.3 months for a crop is just crazy lol

plants are looking really nice fletch!! also can i ask you what the aero method of growing is?? is it like hydro? also if you don't mind what does the humbolt gravity do?? i've heard of bushmaster from them before.

Aeroponics is a hydro variable where you use a high pressure fine mist to mist suspended roots i the air with the water and nutrient soltuion. It allows ultra fast growing high yields and strong plants. The same plants Im growing in soil for 3-5 months I do in aero 10 days veg then 5 weeks 12/12 then harvest. The gravity is a flower hardener it makes the buds swell up and fill in tght making tight hard nugs instead of more air non compact buds. The bushmaster helps promote shorter bushy plants with cose node growth and then Purple maxx or stacker as it used to be called is a flavor and aroma oil enhancer which causes some grows to go completely purple

thanks for clearin that up for me. i think aero is definitly something i might have to look into in the future. soil is nice and pretty easy now (as i'm on my 2nd grow) but it does take FOREVER!!!!! haha
