It has some salicylic acid in it too. It's a secret so it's not on the label.

Right, that's why I said aspirin. Its very similar and causes the same SAR response. So basically you could crush up aspirin, add it to some MagSul and get the exact same results.
Big Mike markets it as "chelated chitin" causing the SAR, which is obviously bullshit...especially for the price tag he puts on it.

I particularly liked the report on ANs trio of bennies-Voodoo Juice, Tarantula, and Piranha

None of the three the tested contained the claimed amounts, or at least they didn't at the time of testing.
I wish I could find the link because it contained some good info for other products.

Just read that link you posted. Good shit

Horrible that there are that many companies cutting corners or maybe the analysis somewhere is off. Either way that's a lot of mislabeled product. Seems like you really gotta do your shopping these days.

Didn't see this untill now.

a more potent "look" whatever the fuck that means
Lol you must have a thick skull....

I bet you would say that don't mean a thing right? The one on the right is probably higher thc and maybe looks just fine to you? Try making hash with a strain that looks like that lol, or better yet let's see a strain 30 percent or higher "look" like that.

Now have a nice day and go smoke some of your shitty "looking" weed.....lol.

Or wait.....are you blind?.. Cause in that case I'm sorry you can't see the difference.

I'm really enjoying the pettiness on riu lately. People have been reviving dead threads after months or even years just to argue. Seriously. It's the only reason I log in anymore. I love reading and chiming in on this shit. Ive never once grown in soil and I'm just going to throw my hat in there. Flushing is bullshit. Let the "debate" begin lol.

I have heard good points on both sides. I'm a non flusher now but used to do a sort of flush.

I once "flushed" a plant with 10 gals (2x pot) that was clawing really hard early in bud because it was recommended. I had to take it out and put it into the tub. It didn't seem to hurt it but there wasn't much evidence that it helped it either. I bet it would've been the same had I just gave it water the next few drinks.

Like I said earlier in this post I think.. how do people flush indoor gardens with 3x the pot size of water for every plant? That could be hundreds of gallons on the floor!

When I was advocating flushing I thought it was just switching to plain water at the last week or so and letting the plant taper.

Now I feed lightly till the end and let the plant taper itself and the buds fill in nicely.

I used to think it made the weed burn black but I've been convinced otherwise. The black ash can be compared to burning "green" hemlock in your wood stove, it doesn't burn properly, and it snaps and pops a lot because of moisture contacting hot resins. If you season your wood (dry and cure) it burns hot/complete, less popping and pure white ash.

I was convinced by Kryptobud himself (and a lot of research) If I'm not mistaken, but that doesn't change that I think he's really rude and could change his attitude. But I'm kind of hypocritical aren't I? I just said he could be thick skilled and I know he's not, he's smarter than that.

Come on who hasn't seen bud that looks more potent than another? Thc content is related to the number of trichs/amount of oil in them isn't it?

To me more trichs=looks and appeal. I do understand other cannabinoids play a factor though but in general you can tell more resin=more potency.

AN makes the coolest micro beer brew art labels ever. Glad I pay 75% markups on them. :-)
Elysian out of Seattle sells more beer due to the fancy labels, I'll even admit I bought my first dayglow because of the cool rainbows and tiger lol.

They just use a catch basin to route water down a drain... not rocket surgery. Some folks swear by flushing. I personally don't care to. I run dwc and my smoke comes put jist the way I like it. That's enough for me. I will argue that the science leans toward flushing being a myth. In my opinion nothing i put in my res will leech anything out of a bud. Much less anything I would want gone. "But my leaves yellow and wilt during flush so it obviously removing something"... Yea it's forcing the plant to cannibalize nitrogen. If anything in my mind flushing takes resources away from a plant. It doesn't help it become more efficient. I don't do dirt so I couldn't answer about salt build ups in medium.

Did I hurt you feelings sweetheart?

Get over it. Dry your eyes, wipe the drool off the keyboard and move along.

I have heard of people using glucose to flush. Sugar seems to flush residual salt buildup. I myself just lower the concentration in the final week. I never let the plant starve out not even from Nitrogen, I just tweak the npk and ppm as I grow

Man oh man..... reading all the dick swinging pissing contests on here made me feel like I was on fakebook... lol.... Anyways, I figured I would give my experience with Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish since no one is really giving any useful information lol.... Here was my test... 3 White Widow Pants, last week of flower, one given only 2ml per liter of Advanced Nutrients Overdrive, the second flushed with water & the third flushed with AN Flawless Finish... all dried and cured the same time, about 2 months.... the Overdrive plant tasted sort of like a tin can lol... but still decent, BUT I use vape chambers and it would gunk up a mouthpiece and chamber pretty quick with a black tar laden ash. The Water one smelled less vitaminish and tasted pretty good/smooth and did not gunk up the vape chamber/mouthpiece as bad and some had black tar ash and some more of a white ash, (2 weeks would of been better for water), as for the Flawless Finish, I am going to say there is some truth to it smelling a little better, the bud itself smelled better (not much, but a little sweeter/more dankish, non vitaminish), but the burnt bud there was no difference in smell, as for smoking, it was about the same as the water one, MAYBE a little smoother, some black ash, very little, but more white ash. I also cough less with the Flawless Finish one, even tho I hardly cough on the water either, unless I empty the entire chamber into my lungs. My conclusion is that there is a noticeable difference between not flushing and flushing with water, with a little improvement in all areas for the Flawless Finish, possibly making proper flushing time quicker as well... Other words, I will buy Flawless Finish over and over again, even if the majority on here say I am wasting my money... I am going to try it on the big bud crop I am about to flush this week, pretty much every plant... I am that confident in it...

That's great man. I'm pretty confident with Epsom salts and water myself. Thanks for the information.

I have never tried that.... when you say epsom salts, are you talking about regular store bought epson salt? I might try that along with the flawless finish and compare results..... Is there any special process and how much would you recommend per liter of water... I use RO water if that makes a difference...

Greetings, yeap regular old Magnesium sulfate aka Epsom salts. Pretty much the same thing in flawless finish, check the label.

I use it at 1gr per gallon in plain pH water at finish. No starving the plant for 2 weeks either, just cut ppm back each week to 200-400 by finish from 1000-1200 ppm at week 4-6 ish and 0-400 at start

Thank you... I will give this a try and if I remember, will post results lol. I am wondering what else they put in there to give it (Flawless Finish) the sweet smell and coloring... (Its pinkish colored), they have to have something they stick in there, be it if its just for packaging and really no benefit to the plant, that I wonder? They claim they have top secret NASA type scientists working for them and they use propitiatory ingredients but that doesn't mean those "ingredients" are useful over just being a gimik to sell epsom salt water and food coloring for $20 a liter lol. It will be interesting to see a side by side of those 2.

Flawless finish is basically epsom salts mixed with water. Some coloring and maybe a sugar like sucanat. The crap about NASA scientists is pure marketing garbage. Maybe they have someone on the payroll that used to work at NASA but that's it.

I wouldn't waste a dime buying that product.

NASA? Didn't they accidentally blow up a bunch of people with their shitty rockets?
That's not much of an endorsement.

I did enjoy silly putty as a child though so I guess they did some good shit
