Fixing to Grow 60 Day Wonder White Dwarf Auto and Auto Fuel

well if you plan on getting busted and just having your scales laying out in the open this could be a concern....or if you are actually selling weed or have alot of traffic in and out. you can just get a small pocket scale and keep it put up when not in use. i suppose they could get you on intent to sell, but i've had my house ransacked before and they missed a 1/2 ounce bag. Check out those smart pots though man, they look like a good idea and it would assist with your drainage and airflow while solving your watering problem.

Sorry to hear you got busted man. That must be tough. I don't sell. I hardly even have visitors. So I do plan on not getting busted

I will think about the pocket scale idea, tx. I suppose I would put in the kitchen with the measuring spoons etc.

I will look at the smart pots they sound interesting. Why don't you do the same for Airpots? They are a similar idea but a different approach.

Update:

I made bubble hash out of the moldy 1.5 oz of Greenomatic and then washed the plant material in acetone and got another nice lump of hash. Very potent and the high is very similar to the bud itself.

Growing some c99, Big Laughing & Syrup. After that Im going to start more Gmatic. Love that stuff.

Olive Oil is the hold out on this grow. She's been under 12/12 for a few days and is now finally really setting buds. @#$!

I bought some Koolbloom and Floralicious which is supposed to help stimulate flowering. She get's that today.


I had trimmed most of the fans from the colas a few weeks ago ( I smoked that stuff and it's strong!) but she has grown a new set.


If these colas fill out, I'm going to get a bunch of dope! So she has not been a loss but it will be at least another month till shes done, that's 4+ months for a fast autoflower. I could have grown a sativa in that time.

White Dwarf Smoke Report

White Dwarf /Buddha Seeds - Indica Autofem

1 plant FFOF soil 3ga pots. 600W HPS. FN nutes. Finished in a 5ga pot

Seed to harvest 95 days.

3 seeds sown, one survived germination. Plant stayed very small until the stretch at which point she exploded just as described in the strain blurb.

In the last half of the flowering period her leaves started yellowing at a rapid pace. She was transplanted from a 3 to 5 gal container and Cal Mg added to her water after which the yellow leaves turned green. Other than that she grew like a champ.

Yield was 3+ oz estimated by eyeball.

Taste is slightly sweet with an afternote of the proverbial 'dog shit' but it somehow tastes good. You often read this about a strain and it makes no sense but it's the best description

The high is very much a couchlock Indica. It hits hard and leaves you rather stupified. There is a mild body euphoria. It's potent but not one hit quit potent. I describe this kind of high as 'white'. It has no real character other than the 'stoned effect'.

I dont much care for such highs. They have their place. Excellent for insomnia, probably pain management etc but in general I dont like being dopey. I think I probably left the harvest a week too late. I think this is my first white strain and I misjudged. OTH I went by trichs which were 10% amber.

When I grow out the rest of the seeds I will cut them earlier. As things stand right now, between the germination failures and the sleepy high, I wont buy this strain again.

Update:

I got my digital timer installed. Had this thing lying around for ages. Had to do some rewiring. It fits neatly into a standard outlet box and you connect to the pigtails. None of the plug in plug crap.

The UV power is now also hooked to the timer for the same schedule as the HID. Theres also a door interlock so if either closet door is opened, they shut off. Dont know if that's necessary but I did it.

I bought 2 more 26W reptiglo 10.0 UVB CFLs for a total of 4x26W. When I grew the Greenomatics, I gave them UV on one side only. That side was markedly more potent than the other!

Olive Oyl is in full flower. The colas are not very fat but they are tall and filled in. She has plenty of time to fatten out. I will try and get a picture but there is so much green it may be hard.

Olive Oyl is now heavy with bud. She is going to give a big yield!

I am going to do a test smoke this weekend and I may do at least a partial harvest. I feel I left the White Dwarf a week or two to late. She did put on more weight but the smoke is more couchlock than I would like. I'd rather have less bud and even less potency but get the high I prefer. This is one of the bennies of growing your own!

So in the end, she did put out and put out big time! What can I say? I just have a way with the ladies. It's not surprising really considering she vegged for over two months and is finishing in a 5 ga pot. If I had had more experience with autos, I would have flipped her to 12/12 sooner but I was reluctant to do that. One of the advantages of autos is that you can keep pumping 18 hours of light a day into them right up to harvest. This helps make up for the short grow time.


This is her today. There are six large colas arranged in a vase shape with an empty space in the middle. You can't see much because of all the green but under the leaves she has formed thick dense buds.

Thanks Jessica. It's good to have the company. I expect to post pix of some trimmed cola's within a week. Trichs are about 50% cloudy right now. I hope to harvest when just a touch of amber shows. I did a test smoke of some fluff from the bottom and it seems to be a nice Indica high.

Harvest:

Olive Oyl was harvested this morning.

Picture below shows a pile 'o bud, roughly manicured, weighing just over 16oz green weight (dinosaur included for scale). The rule of thumb is that dry weight is 1/4 of wet weight so it looks like Olive yielded a qp. Not bad. She was very leafy and there is a fair amount of leaf material inside the bud. OTH her leaves are pretty potent. Also there are some big stalks that will be removed after curing.



6 Colas ranging in weight (green) from 2-4 oz.


About 4oz of leaves. These will make some nice ISO hash.



So in the end a nice yield from this plant and a good smoke if trial smokes are any indication. OTH she vegged for over 2 months and was very heavy on the leaves.

This is the last of the plants in this thread. I shall follow up with a smoke report on Olive Oyl and an evaluation of the grow as a whole. I will copy the contents of this thread into my journal.

To all who followed this thread and especially to those who posted, thank you for the company, your encouraging words and your advice. It made a difference to me. As I said before, growing is a lonely business and I feel the need to share with somebody. I also value the fact that despite the fact that this thread went on for several pages and lasted several months, there was no hating or bitch fighting.
