me too, I went out and bought all of the gear, and apparently live like 2 miles from one of the best trout streams in Maine , but I'm a little intimidated, all of the pro sponsored trout guys are always out there doing their thing

I live in northern California. Lake Berryessa is about an hour away from me. Clear lake is about 2 hours away from me. Loads of lakes, ponds, creeks, Reservoirs, and rivers.
Bass, bass, and striped bass. The occasional sturgeon when I'm fishing for striped bass.
Big fan here. Go out a couple times a week.

I used keep a sturgeon here and there but for the most part catch and release. Very rich meat, not really my thing. Fun AF to catch though. I’ve caught a good 300+. It’s all I used to fish for, at least in the delta, for years.I’m not sure about this. Has anyone eaten sturgeon?
