its all from clones with my own mothers. using rockwool for now. pot holder is kinda hard to describe so i suggest looking at the volksgarden page at omegagarden dot com where there are detailed installation pics and video of the assembly on several links at the bottom of the vgarden page. when you see it, its simple but....not that easy to put into words. picture is work a 1,000 works and there are many pics there

fair enough...sorry i was being lazy. ok , wow but you keep mothers and clone them. what cloning method do you use? i see the vg uses rw cubes. i clone with rapid rooters (rw hates me) and was thinking of that part of the process.....ins and outs .....like you said the rest of it is soooooo easy. watching your grow with hope. looks great:clap:

I didnt know there was more then one way to take a clone or that they had names for the different techniques.
I have seen that rapid rooter product in 3 inch size, but I dont think very many stores carry that stuff. I want to try using it myself, so I am going to see if i can get my local hydro store to bring it in. I don't know if the trade name rapid rooter is from the actual manufacture of that material, but they might put you in touch with them, but they might not.

been having some major puter problems but i think im back - got lots of pics to catch back up on - just about done all of round 2

I am using something called the dark room. Its the DR 150. Its a
5 x 5 x 6'7" tall. The wheel fits inside perfectly. There is even
room in the back for a few extra plants next to the wheel. The
tent comes with reflective material inside, it has the right number
of vents, it is easy to put together and has a side door so you
enter from two sides. It is a real pleasure to use compared to my
old Hydro Hut which I happily threw away. It cost about 300. You
can get them from Bghydro.com.

Thanks rebz,

I would like to make a new posting with all of the pics sequenced without all the blablabla so we have a nice clean record. The finish is going to be quite nice.

its been about ten years since the first ones and i dont think i have seen one diy yet
I saw one the other day made out of pvc. It wasn't running though. So I don't know whether its a working project or it just didn't work. Heath Robinson built it, is trying to build it or something lol. I'm pretty sure it was him. Either way, imo, its a risk to make one yourself. I could see something falling apart, then the whole machine crushing your crop lol.

Anyhow, the pics look great max. I've been waiting for the update. Question for ya.. even though your growing 60 plants this time around, your not expecting an enormous yield right? I mean you expect to put a foot on the possibilities this thing has but blackberry kush is a very small yielder isn't it?

the first machines that were made by omega was pvc. it was a monster at about 12 foot long with 5 or 6 water cooled lights in the center and cost about 12k so things have certainly changed a lot since those days.

the kush is not the highest yielder but it is going to be a healthy round and im not too sure the pics are doing the grow justice, there are a lot of buds in there. I think it will easily pass the 2 lb mark and we will know pretty soon now
