First timer,with problems.

it's the first time i've attempted to grow anything, started off as a joke with a few seeds left in the bottom of a bag.after seeing them starting to grow outdoors i've decided to build a small grow room in my shed.its app 2 and a half foot wide,2 foot deep,5 foot high.
as i say it's the first time so i don't mind making mistakes now.
problem i have is after transplanting them into bigger pots the have started to turn a yellow colour.soil is the same as i had in the smaller pots, mixture of soil and miracle grow.

It's nutrient burn. Try flushing your plants with water and see how they do in the next few days.
if that's watering till it comes out the bottom Ive did it this morning.

again guys thanks for your patients,i am really getting a great buzz looking after these little things, unfortunately not that sort of buzz, not yet.the missus thinks i am mad, spending hours in a small shed looking after a weed.
she's tea total.

You also want a plant per pot otherwise the roots become tangled and they all fight for the same nutrients.

I really dislike seeing people putting more than one plant in a pot.

Yield is linked to root mass aswell as many other things and if you have more than one plant in a pot the roots cannot develope fully and if any of the plants die you could have problems with root rot.

If you can get them all seperated.

yea you have to do 1 per pot or else they compete under the soil for root space and one will eventually outgrow the other or have 2 stunted plants as for the burn i had the same problem i flushed for a week and it fixed it the new growth looks healthy and unburnt good luck!

i promise i will transfer to separate pots tomorrow, any ideas on weather my light situation will be sufficient enough to keep them going.

ok i have a new problem after transferring to separate pots they seem to be dying, all the leaves are going dark brown at the edges, one of the big plants leaves are are turning brittle, i got westlands premium garden soil slow feed mixed with miracle grow potting soil, haven't added anything else, got a bottle of baby bio plant food, made up some nettle feed as well,i haven't added any of the feed yet.
please help, this is harder than i thought.

i am a bit happier there starting to look, well, imo they are,i fed them once with a nettle tea i made myself.i purchased west+ multi purpose feed 4-2-5.which i won't use for a week or 2,or will the nettle tea be sufficient enough to bring back up the phosphorus levels,or can someone advise me as the best way to bring these levels back to normal.i can't actually check the levels as i do not have 60euro for a ph tester.
a few of the stems are a bit purple,a couple of new leaves getting white ends.
i ve also added 2 more 30watt coolwhite floros.

dont kno what kinda strain but look indica dominant... really u dont know how much theyll stretch after u flip to 12/12 which could be a couple inches or couple feet. to be safe id top them asap and wait a few more weeks till they heal and then put em into 12/12. IMO

also they might outgrow those pots

get some close up node shots to see if you can determine sex

good luck

there indoor plants, i wouldn worry about highth. they will get as big as ur pots will allow, then they get root bound which isn totally bad. yes they will stop gettin growing (possibly get wider, not 100% though) but in 5gal containers they will get around 4/5 feet tall i belive.

as for the purple stems, you gave them alot of stress movein them around alot. best thing u can do now is try not 2 rly bend the plant 2 much. in other words just observe ;). im a first time grower as well but i started and kept mine outside. lol iv had the prob ur havein already, but im not usein MG soil so mine didn start so soon lol.

ok , you have MG soil right?? MG soil has lil pices of time released neturts in it. then your givein it neturts also :/ the leaves say ur killin ur plant, idc how much u wash the soil you shouldn be neturt feeding them 2 much. you have MG soil , meanin the more water u put on it. the more the ferts in the soil release, so ur not gettin any where.

i think MG soils are 6 weeks of ferts, 3 if u wash them once a week if heard. once u get thoes ferts out of there then you can start feeding them with ur own mad scientist concautions lol.

btw thoes leaves that have dead ends, cut off the dead ends lol. they are doing nothin valueable for ur plant, they also have the chance to get infected that way. dont have 2 cut off the whole leaf unless you can spare that leaf(small ones). i usually just cut off the bad part, try 2 save all the green leafy parts i can for now.

they are devolpin well, lol thats alot of fkin purple though lol. i thought mine were bad with purple stems... not stocks XD. they are lookin good though man, very nice indeed.

if theres any chance you could get them outside for a few hours a day rather than the indoor light, they will grow faster. nothing beats natural sunlight, if your in a city i wouldn risk it though.

all in all though, very nice for first grow. even if they were 2 die , you always have next year to fix misteaks u made this year.
