2 plants (bag seed)
2x42 watts CFL/6x26 watt CFL (6500K)
Pictures were just taken, 10th day from planting.
the base leaves seemed to be low to the ground and i wasnt sure if this was normal or if i am doing something wrong. a little input could help.

the plants look great vjohn. theyre getting enough light that they need and thus theyre low and you might have a dominant indica strain that doesnt get very tall (compared to a sativa) nonetheless, its better than a stretched plant looking for more light. keep it up.

Just genetics. Consider yourself lucky, they won't get too tall for your space.
They look real good.

Got plenty of time before u need to worry bout anything mate, its great that ur true leaves are close to the soil as uve seemingly effectively eliminated the problem of having a stretched out seedling (which is a common problem) so as long as u keep giving the most light as possible its all good.
Any more info- feeding/soil/watering? blah blah etc.

Good advice.. things look fine. You are fortunate to have low, unstretched seedlings. This will make for straight, strong stalks over the long run.

stoked about the positive feedback. as far as watering goes i water every 2-3 days. i am afraid of over watering. they are both in 3gal. containers so i wasn't too sure if i was over doing it. i planted in this indoor tomato soil w/ perlite. i have yet to add ferts. i figured id wait until they were 2-3 weeks in. advice on the best nutes/ferts for them??? i hear a lot of different things on here so direct input is helpful. P.S. this is quiet an exciting advernture =)
