OK so a lot has changed since my last post. After some much needed mentoring from a respected member of RUI, things are going great if not better than what I expected.

Last time I got one male so decided to germ the rest of the bag seeds I had left. 2 of the 4 popped. Planted both in soil abut a week ago. The older plant that was still going from when I first started finally showed white hairs today!(I think) also bought some feed for the older one. Gonna start half strength feeding once pot dries out more. All comments and concerns are welcomed!

P.s. I know I did a shitty job at topping lol. It was my first try I was nervous af! Lmao
Plants are looking really good! My first mystery seed I popped looks to be just a little behind your small bag seed. Hopefully your setup gives you a much bigger harvest than you expect. And that screw in "100w" led you thought about getting is the same one I'm using in my tote box. That mixed with two $1 led plates I managed to find also labeled "100w" but with more of a pink color rather than purple.

Nice! Mixed spectrum is definitely a plus I'm sure! Yea I figured I do some random bagseed to get the swing of things before I try a more stable strain. The hardest part for me so far is not checking on them so Damn much lmao. You should see me with my magnifying glass! My wife calls me inspector gadget now lmao.

Good luck with your grow! I'll be watching as well

I'm the same way! Always touching my plants, lightly misting the leaves, checking them every hour. Its just an amazing plant that deserves respect. And breathing on them gives them a little more CO2 so you're actually helping it

OK just a quick update.. Been letting the Plants do what they do. Except one is clearly a male. Giving 1/4 strength feeding to younger one and 1/2 to flowering one. Kinda slow so havent had much to really tell lol here's a few pics of the progress

Pics1&2 Oldest plant flowering
Pic 3- still no signs of sex so hoping it's a good thing.

Pic 4&5- male plant... I fim'd this one a little over a week ago before it showed it's true colors lol and it has about 6+ new tops! I was kinda sad seeing the balls. I'll admit this was the first disappoint for me since beginning to grow lol. I'll definitely be using this technique in the near future tho. Thinking I should maybe put it outside of on my sun porch. I really would love to see it grow out. Maybe collect some pollen and use the rest for edibles?? Anyone else keep their males for any other reason besides for breeding/collecting pollen?

Here's a few pics of my setup. Everything seems to be going well as for as environment. My thermometer unfortunately doesn't measure humidity only Temps in my box and temp in my actual room. Gonna look into getting one with humidity reading soon. Going to also add another fan on opposite side to just blow above plants. The red tray on bottom is a cupcake holder($1) I use when watering for drainage. Any advise on improving or fixing something pls enlighten me lol

EDIT: Male has been put outside just because lol probably gonna take the clone route once I've completed this grow and start fresh. But also gonna try my hand in making my own seeds. Just seems so interesting I'd like to try it! So gonna collect some pollen from male(unknown bagseed)

OK things are getting frosty!!! Figure I'd let it go a few more weeks then chop. I know it won't yield much but still proud and ive learned so much! Also finally ordered some Seeds, better nutes and soil!
Damn, the plants look really good! Very interested in seeing what you got from them

Thank you!! I can't say I've done much work honestly lol. I just let it do what it natural does with minimal human f*ck ups lmao. Just water and feed occasionally.

Im already satisfied with my setup honestly lol. This was my first attempt with minimal supplies and it worked! The yeild is a bonus and motivation for my next grow! That's when I'd be worried about yeild only because of what I'll be putting into it.

Well done! One of the best feelings in the world is smoking your own grown weed.
Don’t make the mistake of chopping too early, post again before you chop. No point getting this far and not getting the best out of her.
You’ve got the grow bug now, I guarantee within a couple of grows you will be upgrading something or other! More experience and better kit over time makes a big difference to yield. My first grow got just under an ounce with CFL’s. 3 years later in the exact same cabinet with strip leds i just pulled 6.
Once again, well done mate!
