Hey rollitup.
I decided to try out some autoflowering plants.
Gonna go with 4 different ones
Royal BlueMatic from Royal Queen - its an automatic blueberry
New York City by Pyramid - its a diesel
Candy Kush - Auto seeds
Speedy Gonzales Auto from Kannabia - im pretty sure its a diesel as well
Sprouting these seeds since yesterday, 3 are popped already. I will plant them tommorow.
How should I start these seeds off? I was going to put them in a dixie cup, fill it with seedling soil, cut off the bottom of the dixie cup. and put the dixie cup in the pot (5 gallon fabric pot). The seedlings roots will grow into the bigger pot and by the time it does it should be big enough to handle the richer soil mixture. Im using a 40% soil/peat, 20% worm casting, 20% land and sea compost, and 20% Perlite. I would usually use a bit more perlite, but with the fabric bags, too much water retention and drainage is not an issue.
Is that a good soil mix to use? Its working well on my GH Big Bang(non auto), she is growing like crazy.
I would like to get these right the first time so i dont stunt their growth at all.
I wasnt even considering growing autos but my gf wants to try them out and see if they are any good
I was going to stick with Fem seeds only because of the supposedly less potent buds on the auto's as im an everyday heavy smoker. Im currently growing GH big bang, Seedsman White widow(2 of em), BB Blue Cheese, Sour Diesel from Royal Queen, and GH the Church.
Anyways, if you's have any tips or advice on my first auto grow, OR you've smoked or grown any of the strains im trying, auto or regular, let the comments flow..........
