Ok my name is Tom and my grinds call me "ripp". Cause all I do is smoke... I work too but even then I'm smoking so. Ok the reason I am asking for advise is this is my first grow and I have made a lot of obvious mistakes (miracle grow etc) I have had vertuily no cash and came by all my meterials in the trash or already had it.

Ok so I love in an up stairs apt. And my place faces a major street on the side were the sun comes up and to the west is the complex so outside was no option I went into my storage closet and put up Mylar and rigged a kitchen hood vent for a fan and a light source and ran rigged up light a from the ceiling and I was worried because both my landlord or maitinace could show up and is be fucked. So I did a bit of YouTube 'n and I wanted to build a box and store it in my crawlspace (very large area). So I found all nessary meterials and plaayed with the design and came up with a useable plan. Now I will post pics to better show what i did. Please all let me know what you think of the set up. Good or bad obviously.20160806_232959.jpg
First off are these safe to mix when i started my oldest of three plants was very sad then I started the ST and it seemed to work and work well. Her roots are very strong now and the younger 2 seem to like it as well.

This is the box after I got it in the attic and at first it was very hot. But I directly tied into the a.c. and city off the air flow to my bathroom which has a fan the I tried to tieinto first and it got cool but not fast enough.

CAN I USE SUPERTHRIVE WITH FERTILIZER?
Yes-and we recommend combining both, SUPERthrive and additional fertilizer for ease of application. While you will use SUPERthrive more frequently, both can be applied at the same time in one easy application.

CAN I PRE-MIX SUPERthrive AND STORE MIXED SOLUTION UNTIL NEEDED?
To get the best results, you should NOT pre-mix SUPERthrive. We recommend creating your mixture the same day you plan to use it.

These are the plants and three did ages I've topped them all the biggest I fear I I messed up it gets bushy but that's all fills out and I pruin it and repeat. The other two responded well and ive cut the colas off of the middle agged plant and the two smaller ones have burns but from what the mixture of the fert and thrive or the lights up till this point I have only used the two seprate and never on the same day (12 hrs or so sometimes 24 ) and this is the fan for the exhaust I need a switch to make it go in revrse. So any thing y'all got to say will help

I would make sure that it's sealed good. I see a lot of stuff on the ground outside the growing area.

Working on that. Its getting clean air form outside through the a.c. fan but I am having trouble with the fiber glass

A a few weeks younger a d before they all got topped the clone I was trying died so I just planted another seed. Still wanna clone her the other two haven't shown sex yet and she was really pretty before I'm pretty sure I messed it up so a clone would be a fresh start or would it grow the same. And that's a fan to a kitchen range I ported the air to a different direction by hammering close the vents and cutting a hole in the face of it. That fan blade sucks air the hole directs it and that's a blower to a Xmas Santa I found in the trash it also had a shaker on it which I installed a switch and attached it to the tool bench ( built out of pallets) the lights were tore off of lamps and wired to the range fan ( light switch and fan switch built in) good setup but hot and no air flow plus the complex workers and my landlord nosing around it was off the back lanie (plants started outside and as they got more identifiable they went under cfl :(

super-thrive just one more useless additive
I had seemed to help but it I have nothing to base that from it just started getting strong stem and all but the plant (oldest) is close to 3 months. And she looks like I gave her a bad haircut and I started with M.c and am now using happy frog and they all have been moved several times. Lack of containers. And they all have been doing fine no stress and all thwyve been through there is no way they aren't feeling it . but that's nothing factual about it working or not.

Drop the suoerthrive. I only reccomend using if you transplant and break roots. Indoor growing in pots shouldn't be a problem with transplant.

I wish I had the lighting some folks have. I've got 1000 square feet of basement I can use, but only a single 175 watt metal halide lamp.

I'm sure your halide is better then all my cfls and just so you know The cfl bulbs ran me 20 dollars total. And their mostly higer end (store bought higher end) lights and the recepticals found them in people's trash I spent like next to nothing on this but if you want to get better lighting for cheap I found a cfl with 7000 lumns for 14$ at ace hardware only problem is it wil) only fit in hps sceptical but that would have been nice to have 2 or 3 of those but even the you can get better bulbs for your fixture just look and reflective material can make a big difference too

If you can help it the CFLs will need to be a lot closer to be effective. Rather than growing out a bunch under several CFL just do one. For the CFL to be truly effective you'll need to keep them within a few inches, I'd say 2-3 inches. They aren't that hot so don't worry about harming your plants. A single 40W CFL will be good for a small seedling for it's first week or so, but as it grows you'll need to do more to keep the CFLs effective. By using LST and of course adding more CFL! Keep the plant low to the pot with LST and top your plant at the third node to ensure a super short bushy plant. Using this method you can keep your plant super duper short and grow her out horizontally instead of vertically, saving you space and maximizing your yield. Better yet you can also do a scrog which would allow you to bush one plant out over a wide screen and you can keep your CFL's even with the canopy the hole time, even from the sides if you space it out right.

This plant should be nearing a foot tall, but thanks to topping her and LST she is barely clearing three inches above the dirt. She's bushing out real well and all my bud sites are beginning to gain size and will present me with better nuggets come flowering. At the sacrifice of one big main cola and several small branches I'm essentially making many colas of the same size. That is a terrible explanation and I'm sure hardly scientific but it should give you an idea of what I am trying to achieve and you could too even using CFL.

Two things.
DUMP the Superthrive! It's snake oil!
Replace it with a KELP extract!
I like Age Old kelp or Maxicrop seaweed - Does better for roots and root/plant recovery after any transplant! Great source of micro nutes and I say you will want that soon.

I might for you say to add a Ca/Mg product at around 3ml per feeding - go up to 5ml per if need be.
