First time grower. Advice on nutrients please.

First time grower in soil (going to keep it simple in the begining). I have a ph meter, ppm meter and soil ph tester. Plenty of light.

Confused as all hell by all these nutes. Thinking about going with the Foxfarm Kit Grow Big / Big Bloom & Tiger Bloom.
What else should I get (yeah, I know dirt LOL)

Sounds like you have a good plan. All of the nute series work or they won't stay on the market. YOu can use hydronutes for soil grows. The Ionic series I use has one specifically for soil and coco-coir, I'm sure the others do too. Garden Knowms book "Marijuana Buds for Less", available at Barnes & Nobles, would be an invaluable source for the information you are seeking. VV

Seems like I can always depend on you for an answer! Good to know I have somewhat of a plan. I have four 400 HPS that I bought for $200 (baylights I'm making cooltubes for), two 175 metal halide (found them in the attic of the house I bought, cooltubes for these too) and a boatload of CFL's for the beginning veg state. Also allot of miscellaneous stuff like humidifier, dehumidifier, thermometer and hydrometer, carbon scrubber and ventilation hardware.

Been monitoring temperatures and humidity in my grow room and planning accordingly for when I start.

All I need now are the seeds from Nirvana! I'm on day 16 now of when they told me it shipped so........
