First time grow... Retarded leaf on plant

Hey whats going on guys. This is my first time growing and im not trying to grow for any other reason than personal smoke. i have done a little looking around now on this here internet after one of my leaves decided to be retarded, and boy i should of done this before i started growing. i have 3 plants from some seeds my buddy found in his desk from college last year and i mean we didnt smoke any mids so i figured it was good shit. they are now 12 days old and two seem to be looking alright. but the biggest one has an effed up leaf. Soooo any advise would be great.

I've seen the same on a few of the plants I'm growing at the moment. Came from a hermi, don't know if thats what caused it or not(you know, inbreeding causes fucked up genetics)...they are doing just fine, no retard leaves above the lower ones, you should be fine

There is some yellowing of the tips/edges I see though from your pics, giving them neuts already?

You are prolly fine. One of my plants started out with a leaf just like that and now its almost 3 feet tall.

I noticed the same thing.

To the OP: Have you already started using nutes or is your soil hot (already has nutes in it)?

Massah-- Yeah me and my buddys first mistake was putting them in miracle gro. Then we added a little plant food we found to them only once then i read something on here that said no nutes for the first couple weeks so we stopped.

Yeah hopefully they turn out ok. The one with the messed up leaf in the left is on 12/12 right now and the other two are on 24 hours of light. we are just messin around trying to figure out if we want to grow again. How big should they be if we want to clone them cause when we bought our light it came with clonex for half off. And should i top the plant thats already in 12/12. not now i know but in a few weeks?

why do you not have them all 24/0? clones are good to take at 3-8" with at least 3-4 nodes.

Miracle grow probably isn't the problem. The leaf is fine. The ugliest plants always seem to make the bombest weed.

I dont really know, just kinda messing around with them. Ive read a couple forums on here about 12/12 and just said the hell with it. the seeds were free and its just somethin to do while im not at class or doin homework.

No worries, my blueberry plant did that when it was a baby. I'm in week 2 of flowering now and it's not a hermi, and it's extremely healthy. Don't worry about them, just take care of em'!
