First time grow - PPP from Nirvana

pics don't always come up so easy for my connection, encrypted proxy
but i think i see what you're talking about
i think you have a rooster in the hen house, if you could post a single pic it would be easier for me to see

Think it's any reason for concern?
 
in this pic, all is well, this a 'knuckle', kind of a node at the base of the branch
strangely, i just came across this in the breeding sub forum, not a problem
but i think i saw a male flower beginning to pop up on another,earlier pic from the day before
and a male is, of course, is a big problem
it can cut down on your bud harvest a lot, at least weight wise

Hmm not sure which one you're referring too, I'll keep my eyes open for some testes.

Nothing big to update again. They're doing well as far as I can tell, the seedlings are certainly doing better than I first experienced!

So nothing big to update today, they appear to be doing well, full of beautiful white hairs :) They're growing HUGE as well!! Next time, I'm definitely doing LST, I don't want my babies to be starved of bud producing light!

Yeah, 1kW is far beyond what I want to do. I'm quite happy with my 400W CMH so far, seems the plants love it! I think in the future, doing LST will be the best I can do. Additionally, I could probably hang a couple CFLs along the walls of the tent but thats about the only thing I could do.

Hmm thats odd? Should be working.

Anywho, I think I'll stop the daily update of pictures and post once per week as the buds develop unless of course there is something of interest to post.
 
the PPP is showing the scars of battle
but not too unusual, some plants do well in a grow, a few others not as much
so enjoy your 2 good ones, and the PPP may yet rally some
 
I just built this, which I will be testing with my current seedlings. It's a 12 Quart (3 gal) container from wally world (~$2.50) with 10 screw eyes (~$0.97) and 5 drainage holes. I can fit about 4 of these in my tent. With this design, I'm hoping to be able to LST with ease!

Any comments/thoughts/suggestions? :)

Ya know that was a great idea! I had such a B1tch of a time trying to LST my plants to a 5 gal bucket. Hope you dont mind but I'm def gonna borrow this. Thanks + good luck. Ps I bought some PPP seeds but have yet to plant them, so I'll be dropping in to see how it goes.

Feel free! Its a good cheap solution. I'd add some epoxy to the screws (I used a dremel to drill the holes) to keep them really sturdy. I'm excited to see how well this actually works out. :)
 
yeah, you've got an issue here
i'm not sure what's happening, so take this as just a guess
i know you've adjusted the water PH, so that sounds like it's in a good range
but i always suspect the most recent problem, wondering if this water has a high TDS(total dissolved solids)
there are cheap test strips that can test for quite a few water conditions
again, best guess, but when leaf tips burn and die, sounds more like too high a concentration of something

Indeed, I added 1tsp epsom salt to 1gal water and feed it to my babies. Hopefully it'll help, we'll see.
