@Old Luck: Thank you very much. We didn't ever have a problem with keeping the humidity up, but rather keeping it down. Is your plant in veg or flower? What level is your humidity at? If she's in veg just try leaving a bowl of water in the closet, with the heat from the lights it should act as a mild humidifier. If she's in flower, lower humidity levels should be ok. We started off small, too; in a little stealth grow cabinet. Good luck to you, keep us posted on how your plant does!

1st week of veg stage. 80/33 tmp/hum has a 10 gal res. 400 watt HID. Maybe 1st time gitters. See so many pixs with due dropping off the little leaves that I thought it was the norm. I would have have to have70+ humidy.

if you raise your humidity your temp will go up higher. my 2 cents. if you're gonna raise 10% or more you need a humidifier and if you do that you might have to add more ventilation. I'd say try a pan of water and if that raises it to 40 be happy

@Old Luck: Sounds great dude. The humidity is fine too. But I suggest giving your baby a little extra lovin' from time to time. Go to the supermarket and ask a worker to help you buy some dry ice. (Be careful not to burn yourself on the ice! It's super cold. Don't handle with your bare hands and don't hold for prolonged periods of time.) Put it in your closet a reasonable distance from her and let the CO2 do it's thing. During this time it may be best to turn off your exhaust fan just so she can absorb as much as she can. The extra CO2 will help her to handle higher temps as well. Be sure to check on it from time to time making sure that everything is ok inside.
And FYI dew dropping off of the leaves is not normal. We've actually never seen dewy marijuana leaves. But, it may be the leaves pespiring (basically, sweating) from higher temps. Really want to know how yours turns out! Good luck and let us know!daisybaby.jpg This is a pic of our first CO2/dry ice treatment our first week of getting our baby. :)

7 days vegging. So she was a baby. It doesn't matter when it is, because CO2 is like their food. They love the shit outta CO2 and it really does help. Kinda like a safe form of steroids for them, you could say, without any harmful effects.

I think OldLuck was referring to the little CO2 bombing sesh. lol. In any case it feels good to treat her to a little extra CO2 every now and then :)

Sorry, when you first started your CO2? How long each time and how often?
@OldLuck: We gave Daisy her first CO2 treatment her first week of veg. And then whenever we felt like it; about once a week or every other week. We just let about 5 lbs of dry ice sublimate. Then we decided to make a makeshift CO2 generator (ghetto style) that gives her a steady flow of CO2 for about 2 weeks. We ended up developing a gadget out of a gallon sized water bottle that we would place the dry ice in with some hot water and some duct tubing . We made it so one end of the duct tubing would attach directly onto the cabinet's intake fan.
It kinda looked like this (sorry we can't find a picture, it was pretty bad ass though :D) --->
FAN (attached to) [ duct tubing ] water bottle [ duct tubing ]

Oh trust us, with proper care and just paying very close attention she will. Even when you feel iffy, she will definitely pull through. Good luck!
