Hello everyone. First post here and hope to enjoy many experiences with everyone. These little ones are in day 17 of veg and seem to be coming along pretty nicely.

2 different plants. Look ok to everyone and does anyone know if these are indica or sativa or a mix? Also they already have a pretty strong odor is that normal for this early in the game? Thanks for the input.:-o

Hey plants are looking very healthy, looks like indica strain doubts on the hybrid, very early aswell for smell usually you wont smell odour until flowering period, but depends on the odour, you might want to bulk up your growing container considering indica's are a wide plant thus use up more horizontal space compared to vertical, good luck in the future, cheers

thanks for the input. I really hope all goes well. Not sure of how I would upgrade to larger container. Any tips on that?

Very sexy looking indica!!! As for transplanting goes, i homemade mine out of a fruit punch bottle lmao. It was a 1 gallon bottle so i cut it in half and poked holes in it at the bottom. I put some black cardboard on the sides to light proof. Works perfectly

Well wish I would have started if earlier but I guess that its part of the learning curve for first time growers. Will post pictures later to see if I have started lst the right way. I have been doing tons of research but nothing compares to these forums and the insight all you expirienced growers can give

You're really not that late into it. I was going to LST mine tonight but its working on the 4th node and the node spacing is really tight so I'm just going to let it grow a few more days before I even start to tie it down. So you're golden.

EDIT: How many lights are you using and what wattage are they?

I tie my plants down in whatever strange configuration I feel like...lol...it does the job, although it might look a little odd...I might have over lst'd this last one though...lol. I just tie everything down or over in a way that keeps it out of the way of everything else...running out of room though...

Good to hear. There are 3 26w 6500k cfl in reflectors (basically heat lamp with cfls) for the 2 plants. Actually plan to upgrade and add 2 of the longer florescent tubes for the sides as well but was hoping the lst would help out some with that. Was going to add some more pics but they are sleeping now so I will update tomorrow.

lol that is my exact plan. not every situation is the same so i guess you just have to use your best judgment sometimes. all a part of learning to grow I guess. :-)

I know they are kinda deep in that pot but if it were me id just try and get them to lean over just a little more the next time you tie it down.
