ya kind of they will infest if you let them go long enough
they probably came from the soil

I have been battling high temps again because of the heat. It's running around 85f during the morning with lights on and in the afternoon from 6:28 pm till about 9 pm. Winter can't come fast enough. In a week it looks like more warm weather then its suppose to go down in the 70's and keep cooling off from there. How do the look? The skunk mass is a tad droopy but it always perks back up once the nights kick on.









On a side note, if my inline fan is pushing 240 CFM, should I get a carbon filter close to that or should I just buy another fan and get one closer to the CFM's of the combined fans?

Here's a shot of my skunk mass, im wanting to LST her pretty soon...can I start now? She's growing up quick and I think she will love it! Yay or should I hold off?

wait until she stretches a bit i usually do it around 5 nodes or so then pull it over from in between the 3-4 nodes then leave there and let it stretch again then pull the branches down just enough to separate the about to be cola's

on the cfm question i use a 6" carbon filter and a duct fan
the larger the filter the more surface area the less amount of resistance

Your the man Tek! She has 4 nodes now but they are all super tight so I raised the light 2" to see if she will stretch a bit more! I'm going to be running 2 240cfm inline fans with a 6"x24" carbon filter rated at 500 CFM's. I'm pretty sure I should be alright. Also tek should I wait until 5 nodes to introduce 1/4 strength nutes?

depends on how well its doing you kinda got to read it if its a darker green then it has plenty if its a little light then maybe start at 1/8th strength and see how she acts
it might do fine with just soil for a bit never know until it happens
auto's vary alot pheno to pheno 2 seeds same batch one could be a nute whore and one not like them at all

less is more on your first couple grows
better off underfeeding it then burning the shit out of it

Very true, she's starting to lighten up a tad so maybe in 5 days or so ill give a very light feeding. Tek, have you ever grown in fabric pots? If so do you tell it water is need just by the weight or what? I'm having a hard time, the first 2 inches of soil are bone dry but the pot still feels decently heavy. I haven't watered in 3 days now.

just keep around the stem moist like 1/2 a cup every few days or so until the pot gets light
ya same way pretty much

Ill just wait until it feels light unless it starts showing signs of under watering.

Update 9/3:

Skunk Mass is still growing like there is no tomorrow while the bag seeds are trying to play catch up!

I have weird twisting leaves on two of my seedlings. Overwatering? The youngest of the 3 bag seeds isn't showing any signs of overwatering so I'm not sure. Any help?

what soil you running ?

either the soil is a bit too hot or its a zinc def
but im gonna go with soil is too hot
unless you used seed starter
they will probably out grow this issue fairly soon

Fox farms ocean forest. I was kinda thinking that too, but my skunk mass didn't do it. I guess I'll just wait it out, and next run ill use light warrior for starting seeds. Thanks tek!

just put a handful where you're going to plant them
even if its used soil thats been flushed and allowed to dry that is if you had no ph or nute issues on the last grow
