think im just going to get a variable speed inline and just be done with it 4" fan and some reducers and then build a 4" muffler and just use all my 6" ducting would equal out to about 160 cfm if im figuring right
hadnt heard back from the seller yet i gave him a good ass reaming and even after this is remedied im going to make sure my feedback states false advertisement
It'd probably be quieter too with the 4 inch fan, muffler and than the larger 6" ducting. Yeah let people know that the seller sells bunk equipment that isn't as advertised. I always try to make reviews when I get something that ain't right so nobody else like me buys it and has to go through the hassle. :fire:

Anyways I checked on my BDM and I can see a tad bit of green on the soil surface! Hopefully she'll be up soon and not be a runt from her struggle for life! Ha:leaf:

Update 8/27: pics in the afternoon

Change of plans, my buddy gave me 3 bag seeds, they are either Blue Dream or Blueberry. He can't remember which. So I have those germinating right now and if the BDM pops, it'll just be a bonus. Anyone every run an HPS from seed? I'm going to be vegging for a long long time (70 days) till the auto finish, then ill be switching from 20/4 to 12/12. I'm going to LST the SM and the BDM and I am going to try to mainline and LST the bag seeds/ clones. Anyone know a good rooting solution that is reputable??

caught it early like super early went to flush it and i broke the hermi branch
i have one of those shower heads on a hose and dropped it on it
i still have one node left on the plant itself
but any back to the question how warm does the medium need to be ?
i know that and not shaking or moving it is the key to getting them to take

Lets see....
All I do different than most is take a second cut.....
Let me explain..

I wait till mother is needing water. this way you can tell right away if they take of they don't. If the plant is slightly droopy when cutting and all clones perk back up. you'll keep all of them most of the time.

I take the mother out of the tent.
I take 1-6 cuts before plugging anything
Place ALL my cuts into a cup or bowl of water wixed with Olivia's Solution.

Next I take the same blade I've been using for the cuts, to take another cut off the bottom about 1/4" from the original cut.
This prevents air from becoming trapped inside.....

Next I dip the cut ends into Clonex Rooting Compound Gel. After I make sure the tip is completely covered with enough gel, I snip off my bottom leave completely, the next 2 fan leaves up get cut in half.

Then I put them in Rapid Rooter Plugs in the tray and mist them....
Making sure I mist the plants and the dome as much as 7 or more times a day. I use a 4' shop light with 2 T12 5k bulbs.

the heat from that is perfect for me. anything over 70 and under 80 is ideal within the dome. even if the room outside is a little cooler. the light will trap heat within the dome. everytime I remove mine I get a blast of warm air to the face.

does that help at all??

Hmm sounds like the BDMs are just slow, thought mine was an anomoly. Maybe ill get some more.
I gave up on mine and pulled it, it was starting to establish but it must be a runt to take 7 days to be even close to popping. I germed 3 of the blueberry or blue dream bag seeds. They all had good tap root so I popped em in some FFOF and now I just have to wait. Ill get pics up tomorrow afternoon.

nice man, I'd kill to track down some legit blue dream. I have a buddy that has been cloning it in cali for like 5 years now, but he started from a clone in cali, and he's not willing to hermie one for seeds. I hear that Humboldt BDs are not originals. Only other place I can find them is at riot seeds.

Like I said he's not positive on what it is. He bought a quarter of blue dream and a quarter of blueberry and put em in the same bag lol. Either way it'll be interesting. You know you could always have your buddy mail you a rooted cutting. You might have to beg but it'd be worth it for sure!

Heres a picture of my Skunk Mass auto, it's growing fast but one of the leaves is starting to curl kind of towards its base. Any ideas? I know I'm not overwatering, maybe heat stress from the 400 hps that's only 22" above its head? I pH'd water going in right at 6.8, but haven't checked the run off for fear of overwatering lol.

Ignore the temps, it sits at 82-84f unless I keep the zipper open too long. If you look at that back leaf, its slightly curling up and looks rough but its not dis coloring or anything?

its been 8 days since I germinated it, so roughly 6.5 days since it popped the surface or so.

haha. perhaps.

plant looks nice n perky. probably just some genetics on the leaf. my blue mystic was like that. the first set of leaves were almost pear shaped with curly tips, but the fan leaves and everything grew fine.

Thanks bro! Hopefully those bag seeds will show themselves soon so we all will have a little more to look at! Haha anyways it must be the genetics, ill know for sure in probably a week or so. Should I wait until 4 nodes before slowly introducing nutes or should I wait till the 5th node? I know autos are pretty sensitive and since they are are autos they won't recover... Better safe than sorry right?

Quick update day 9 for the Skunk Mass and day 1 for two of the bag seeds while the third is above surface but still has the seed casing on. The Skunk Mass is growing very quickly and looks healthy! Comments are welcome!:blsmoke:

temps maxed out at 85 today because t was so damn hot outside. Lighting schedule is 20/4 for the auto and the photos all under a 400 watt HPS

you need white light to take at least 1 pic with when you update its hard to see deficiencies with the HPS on someone might be able to catch something you havent noticed is why its hepfull to take pics in a more natural lighting

i usually wait on nutes until 3-5 nodes , preflower , 3-4 weeks what ever comes first really depends on how hot your soil is

Thanks tek, my lights are off from 2:28 pm pacific time to 6:28 so ill take a pic or two for you guys! Also last night, I say a small, bug maybe a millimeter long in my soil. It had 6 legs and was a lighter opaque color. Any ideas? Checked under leafs and dug around a little but found nothing. I bookmarked a lady bug deal just in case of infestations lol.
