so I've never grown anything and all my knowledge is just general stuff and a couple days if binge watching videos and whatnot . so I have 4 plant going now they're all just seeds I've saved over the years and I have them in a mix of (eco scraps ) potting soil the first organic potting soil I could find at Lowe's, and black kow composted cow manure i added about 3/4 of the compost to the soil . I have 4 cfl bulbs 1 is a 55w soft white bulb and the rest are the next size down but white light. I keep em a few inches away from the 2 plants that look like they might make it. When I first started I geminated 4 seeds and only 2 popped and I didn't germinate the other seeds till a few days later so they're not all the same age . but the 2 from the first batch are the really messed up ones because I was over watering and the bottom of the pots became muck. So I had to repott early and I damaged the roots so idk if they're savable and i feel like I mixed too much compost into my soil so now I'm kinda afraid to water them and it won't drain right . but the other 2 that I didn't over water are still showing some bad signs . so I'm if it's because of too much compost or something else. Also after I noticed the 2 better ones were starting to yellow , I went and got some SUPERthrive stuff and I added a little drop to a half gallon of reverse osmosis water and I've been spraying them with that and watering a little with it

Might need a bit more water I don't think they should look that dried up, how you watering them.. Could try soaking till the water comes out the bottom about 10% run off just make sure you have good drainage.

they're not really on a watering scedule since I realized I was over watering them at first so I'm trying not to add too much because I don't want the bottom of the pots to to turn to muck like be for but since I repotted them all I added a cup or so to the ones in the big pots and like half to the smaller pots.

I also have 2 more seeds in a paper towel right now that we're in water over night and popped . I'm not sure the 2 bad ones will make it And I'm sure not when I should give up on em

Yeah the potting mix you used was already enough but then to add composted cow manure in such high amounts also is probably a little much for seedlings. You should move the light back from the plants. Also you aren't understanding how to water. You water slowly wetting the entire top then waiting until it soaks in. Then wet the whole top like that again and again until it drips from the bottom. Are you spraying them with lights on? You should spray at lights out and not too much so that you are creating fungi/mold. Don't spray with just ro water add something like epsom salt you can google how much but not until the plants are active again. Raise the humidity to 70% if you don't have a humidifier google how to raise humidity without one.

Thanks for the water tips I'll do that from now on i just didnt know if since I mixed the soil wrong that it'll retain too much so I've just been adding little by little until I figure it out and I've been spraying them with the water that has that superthrive stuff in it but not during lights out.

That ecoscraps is actually really good soil. Stick with that alone for seedlings, it has plenty of nutrients by itself. The manure might be something to consider down the road, but I always heard manure was too rich for cannabis and it kinda looks overfed. Also, if that as aluminum foil, scrap it and get some mylar or a space blanket

So do you think it would be better to move them to just eco scraps or should I leave them ?

So I'm trying to bring up the humidity I have a wet towel hanging and I put the lights a little bit further

I've basically given up on the 2 bad ones and I'm going to get some more eco scraps soil today and plant the to seeds I have germinating tomorrow. I guess my biggest question is will the 2 that don't look dead be able to live in the soil they're in or is it just kind of keeping them alive for now.

kinda small to replant, idk if they'd survive anyway, just let em go and see if they survive. Do some more reading as far as soils and nutrients and look into smart pots/fabric pots. This site has lots and lots of info, just do some searches and my biggest tip to anyone is research.

Before you give up on the two worst plants yes rinse the roots off with tap water and move it to eco straps. Does eco straps have little pieces of white stuff in there called perelite? You need perelite and large drainage holes. I might even give the eco straps a semi flush when I transplanted those two that are dying. Basically after rinsing the roots in as low light as possible plant it into the eco straps dry then immediately but slowly poor 1 times the water through the soil little by little as I explained above. This will push out some of the loose chemicals and the water will suck oxygen into the root zone. You might be amazed if they recover, it is a weed. Now that those two plants are tagged for the scrap bin it is time to use them to learn the art of saving a strain!

I think you should look into Nature's Care. Easy to work with, inexpensive, coco/peat/yucca-based medium, and organic ferts/nutes. But, yeah, man, you're probably going to want to start over.

I've tried to find some sort of gardening or hydroponic shop or anything around me and they all closed or are just for bulk landscaping . is natures care better than the eco scraps I'm guessing? And is it at Wal-Mart or Lowe's ?

Don't get put off by the fact that it's from the makers of MiracleGro. It's legitimately organic, with no time-released nutes. Check my blog.
