I'm afraid I didn't read how you got your seeds/starts, but if you're growing from seed it's well worth it to get feminized seeds. my 2c.You pay a little more but every one (minus the infrequent abberation or hermie) is female from the get-go. I order from Nirvana and only once has a plant hermied on me from them and it was most definitely MY fault for stressing it too much at the wrong time.
I second the advice on buying fem seeds. I am a first time grower myself but I already can see the time and effort spent (especially in a limited space) is valuable and it's best to know what-cha got. Nirvana is awesome!!! I ordered femmed seeds from them for my first grow and was very impressed.

Since I'm a first time grower...I just thought that's how they grow when they flower. But to be safe I'm gonna ease back on the nitrogen in my nutes. Thanks for the heads up amigo

Yeah I wish I had some Fem seeds. Thanks for the heads up about Nirvana. What kind of strain did you get from them?

Okay it's July 12th when I took these. And I started flower on June 8th. So that puts us at:
5th week of FLOWER.
Coming along very nice. Got some amber hairs in there now with the white.
Enjoy the pics.
Got these next few holding a 30x jeweler's loop up to my iphone camera. Came out pretty sweet
As always I welcome anyone's thoughts or comments.
Looking forward to uploading more pics. I should see harvest sometime in August. Looking good so far

Lookin good monk, shes comin along swell.
And jus my 2cents, Its usually best to record your flowering time from when u first see the white hairs. She has a nice amount of trich production so i would say she is around her 3rd week of flowering

I have some big 160w from my veg grow that I could use. Problem is they're BRIGHT WHITE...not SOFT WHITE. Does that matter if I have a few Bright white cfls in with my soft white cfls?

Hey man everything will come in time
And hell yea man throw those lights in there(more light=more bud) & during flowering alot of ppl suggest that a mixed spectrum of lighting is really benificial for bud growth.
I have even heard of guys switching from HPS to MH or from HPS to CFLs in the last couple weeks of flowering.

Looks really good. I remember my first female from bag seed. Started with 12 seeds, got one female. 11 males. So are you planning on regrowing from fem seeds? On my first plan i cut off all the buds, threw her in darkness for 48 hours then back to 24 hour light. reveged for 2 weeks then rebudded and harvested the whole plant.

I'm seeing some slight yellowing on the tips of the fan leaves and I know that's a sign of nutrient burn. Fuck! What's the best way to combat that? Should I hold off on nutrition for a while and just go with water? or should I further dilute down my already diluted nutrition I've been feeding her. Welcome anyone's thoughts. Will post more pics soon

Also added more lights

A little nute burn so late in the game, however you wont want it to get much worse. so for the next 2 or 3 waterings give it only water and then give it half the nutes fo the next one after that followed by 75% strength and then back up to 100%. Only you can judge your plant, so depending how it goes after just giving water (also reffered to as flush) you can decide how long you want to keep doing it and when to start giving nutes again. Personally I give nutes until I see a slight nute burn and then back off, this way I know I am pushing the limits.

While lights are on temps go as high as low 90s
When they go to bed I bring them into the bedroom with me (which is where I have my grow tent) and I have the AC on in my bedroom...so the tent will get a little of that and it can get as low as 75 or so.
Too much heat will fuck up your plants and send them into shock for sure so don't be afraid to lower the heat a little (which might mean putting them in a room with AC). Send me a link to your plants so I can check them out.
