ah man, nothin compares to up north. down south is all, square roads and pre-planned downtown areas. i love burnin a jib then goin downtown to the coffee shops and book shops and talkin with people that have more intelligence than what the local church tells them they can have. but sadly, on the 27th, i leave from portsmouth back to the deep south of hypocracy and bafoonery. not to mention the bud is a million fuckin times better up here!

i only grew two plants - two 26w per, warm range, but i did all last and kept them very small. one turned out to be male, one female, so i put all four cfl's on the one lady for flower. been about 4 months so far, give or take a week or two. :joint:

I'm running 12800 lumens in my grow, it's about 2 sq feet

8 CFLs putting out 1600 each. They're the 26w bulbs so it's really not that much wattage

I'm not sure,,and someone can correct me if I'm wrong,,but becuase you have 8 cfl's puting out 1600 lumens each,,doesn't mean you add them together to figure out your lumen output,,what you have,,is 1600 lumens,,spread out @ 8 bulbs @ 1600 lumens,,the light is 1600 lumens,,and can't become any more than that,,except,,a HoLE bunch of 1600 lumens,,can someone plz shed some lumens on this,,cuz enquiring minds wanna know

Keep on Growin

No, you definitely add the lumens. If not, there would be no reason to ever have more than one light. Those big units with six 48" T5's would put out no more than one T5.

Damn, for some reason I feel like a shot and a beer.

deffintealy add them. and the one plant only took up on sq ft in diameter. lil guy. So all those lumens were directed in that small 1X1 square

yo those look real sick man, I like the tying down technique it seems to be going well. Did you top them at all or are they just tied down? You may have already said this but I'm too lazy to read through 7 pages. Are you using any nutes or anything? You should try an outdoor grow I like them a lot and If I can do it in Maine it should be quite easy in Florida provided you have a nice hidden spot. I grew mine out by my pond in that like overgrown swamp area, not sure if you remember the layout of my yard but anyway, let me know what you yield. I topped one plant and let the other grow naturally and i actually got more from the one I grew naturally almost 3 ounces while the topped one got about half that. It was my first grow but it went fairly well considering my circumstances and that i had to leave for college a month before harvest leaving my ignorant mother in charge of plant care (she almost killed them)

what up 'hood friend. good to see u checkin in. It only yielded about a qt. but off that one plant, no taller than a foot, it wasnt bad at all. best green ive had in this area ever haha. reminded me of home.

The harvest (if you could even call it that) happened a while ago. I didnt top it, but the LST technique (tieing it down) "tricks" the plant into forming a bunch of mini cola's. shits sick. I think im def. gonna do outdoor this season. FL soil sucks tho, its straight sand a foot or so down. Im gonna have to go BDW style an put bags in the ground n shit. Stay up man, you gotta journal for yours or any pics?

the weather is good here, but the soil sucks. and theres no real shelter in the form of hills or mountains. ill have to scope a buncha places out to tinfd the right one

no doubt man, do what you said and either use a bag in the ground or if you find a real good spot you can just grow in 5 gallon buckets, we do that sometimes and then you can move them around depending on situations.
whats the temp out there this type of year? man i cant even remember im so use to being back in nh, i know in march well end of feb. is bike week and its always fuckin nice then so your probably in pretty good temps now. start them bitches up as soon as you can though and give 'em plenty time to grow:mrgreen:
