First Indoor Grow

Well Guys, i guess its about time i start up some sorta journal on here. I've done soil outdoor grows for a couple years now and growing outside is great if ya can do it, but we just moved into a tight-nit very conservative neighborhood. Don't think the neighbors would be too happy with one of my little gardens. SO............ Between that and being broke and the price of weed only going up, I've decided to try my hand at hydro.

By the way, feel free to leave comments or suggestions at any time. I'm new to this and I have a lot of respect for the helpful advice so many of you have to offer.

Well folks this is what I'm working with.

The room is lined with mylar,( well about 3/4 of it) And I have a seperate vegging and flowering room. Veg room is 7x6 and the flowering room is 4x6

Going back a couple weeks here just wanted to start at the beginning.

Germination


( yes i know the one pic i had was a seed that i put in upside down.) Dumb da dum dum dum dum. regardless of that The other seeds that i put in the right way were pokin out at the same time.

Sprouts!!! lookin pretty healthy. Unfortunately one grew much faster then the other two as they were sort of mutated. These are all just bagseed by the way, just wanted to get a feel for growing inside before I went killing expensive seeds left and right... Which was a good thing to because I ended up killing about 8 viable seeds getting the hang of rockwool.

Also added a White demon seedling to the mix. I know I kind of screwed myself over by doing that and having the plants all at different stages with the same nutes and res. But hey - now I know.

Plants keep getting bigger so I figured it was time I get to try out my new cloner. took a couple cuts off my biggest plant. Took em right off the bottom. They were starting to crowd the others anyways. So....

Topped all the plants today, Clones look as though their starting to form roots. Its been about 5 days.

Also replaced old air stones with two 12'' air stones. Bought a new pump and threw a six inch stone in my cloner... roots are forming more and more.

Moved one of the clones into a 3 inch soil pot. Left the other to see how much more developed the roots can get in another week. I just am achin to get this thing into flower so I know if my big girls a GIRL... Oh and I took two clones from each of the other plants and threw them in the cloner as well. No sense waitin around too long for them.

What a difference... What an amazing difference. I went from having One bubble disc air stone to two 12'' air stones and adding that Co2, that's it and in the last five days the growth has just EXPLODED. I transferred the two clones into soil on Monday, giving them a week to stabilize before I throw one in to flower. I also took cuts from the rest of my plants on Monday and I'm starting to see roots on those already. Hopefully I'll have a good idea what sex my plants are in the next couple weeks. Oh and some other good news. I had a potted plant that a buddy gave me " because it was on it's way out" It had nutrient burn and deficiency, It was EXTREMELY over watered in the wrong kind of soil. And I brought it back.... And it's a girl! Small itty bitty girl who's gonna give me a 1/2 if I'm lucky but still, its free bud in my book.

realy nice setup, ill keep watching. I know that you have a cloner 18 station, what is the other tub it looks like a cloner is it a s.o.g?? can we get some pics of the inside setup of the tub and what is it, first time i saw one in a veg room that wasnt a cloner.

oh yea and how did you make that co2 i saw that on another thread make your own co2 i just cant find that thread anymore, realy did your homework good job.

Well thank you man, The big tub in the middle of the room is a Stealth Hydro Bubbleponics kit. Its pretty sweet. I've mostly done soil, this is my first attempt at hydro. But I've been VERY impressed with the growth from the system. I had a soil plant that I started two weeks before the system came in and the system overtook the soil plant in less than two weeks. My only problem is I want bigger plants and you don't have that much room in the system. It's absolutely perfect for SOG growing.
So I ordered a waterfarm last week and it should be here tomorrow to transplant the biggest of the plants out of the SH system.
