first grow need advice!!!

setup is in a 2'x2' closet
light is 2 19 watt cfl on sides and one big 125 watt cfl in middle
soil is some basic miracle grow soil ( i know everyone hates that)
they are in solo cups right now plan on changing them soon

but this is all i got to work with right now once i got more money i can add/change just need some advice have not added anything to soil need advice on that

also this is day 23 and it is bag seeds

Lose the tinfoil, it does more harm than good.

Your lighting is fine for now but you'r going to have to top/LST them later on to get good amounts of popcorn bud.

Are you letting the soil get dry in between watering?

yea i am letting the soil get dry just added the 125 2 days ago. just a small fan or what cause i leave the door open

A small fan will work for now, it moves the plants around which strengthens the stems. Later on you might want a bigger fan but for now a small one will work.

you only want to move the plants a little at first so don't go putting a full force fan on your plants or you could blow them right over

When you transplant, your going to want to have some good, unfertilized top soil. By the time you need it, it should be on sale. Buy a bag of vermiculite and perlite at the same time.

If your in the states, I suggest fox farms line.

If your in Canada I say go with General Organics line

appearance:

They look a bit stringy, but you can't move them closer to the light without a fan or two.

Seeing as this is your first grow, let me compliment you on taking the initiave to grow, your set up is a great start and I'll be around to see you develop it.

Oh, and get a thermometer/humidty gage.

They have digital combo ones for 10 bucks. You never want your temps above 30C.

kalebaiden, thanks for all the advice.I have made notes and already removed the tin foil. but it is time to do that sleep thing so i will check this out in the a.m.
