Its true man btw my heart broke when you had to scrape the grow do to mites tis why I tossed mine on my first grow...and well shit doesn't really get easier imo you just learn to find ways to make things work

ya i had to toss so many plants, but its kind of funny cuz im just finally flowering now after like 4 months of dicking around.. it was too many to handle then so i can just imagine where id be right now with all those girls lol.. all a huge learning experience tho and ive enjoyed it. Def. one of the things ive actually tryed at in a while so its nice to be interested in something. And i figure if u feel your more prepared for something it will be that much easier going thru it.. just gotta be a tuff cookie and think positive like you said, and the negative things will become less noticeable.
 
Very true and man I get what you mean I started growing without even a light yeah I have an idiot ex anyway I started 15 with basically nothing and no knowledge way in over my head there
 
Hey just read some of this thread, i can't believe the people all telling you to kill all your plants and flipping so much shit over mites almost ALL growers get mites you could have saved so much money and weed by throwing up some no pest strips and buying some einstein oil. picture those plants under a thousand watt now
 
Yeah I have to agree I couldn't save my plants only reason I tossed them but I got rid of my mite issue super easy never had a problem since and yes gibbs they grow quick!

oh i realize that now man.. i had the no pest strips but i didnt end up with the einstein oil i ended up with doktor doom foam spray or whatever it is and it was harsh on my plants.. and ya they would have looked amazing under the 1000watt HPS on my light mover flowering away:(
 
Oh gibbs wouldn't be too down about that you learned something right? I have this theory there is no bad experiences as long as you learn from them
 
ok so i ended up bringing all 12 plants to my frients till this thursday right, well i ended up chopping 2 of them down becuz of spider mites and due to lack of interest, then i like i said this thursday being yesterday or 2 days ago almost now becuz of the time i had to bring them back to my place.... well turned out the plan was to bring 6 back to my place and flower them... thats it. THEN.. id have 4 potential mothers at my friends vegging under the 1000watt MH :).. buuuht turns out after bringing them back and taking a break and going out for the night my mother decided to go downstairs into my room and grabbed all of my six plants and took them outside and...


well cut them all up and put them in the garbage... MURDER i know i know.. lol. but FACK man made me cry.. so now i have 4 left at my buddies and some nice equipment to fuck with.. we will work something out.. gotta keep up with the positive thinking..

dont want to break n e ones hearts but that what happend.. i dont think i will sleep to well tonight lol.. i know i had previously mentioned that my mother was ok with me growing but i guess she used all of this to her advantage to her being against it in the first place and just not saying anything.. whatever shit happends and i have lots of seeds, lights to start over so worst comes to worst i will move out.

Right now im just kinda taking it ez and trying to figure a few things out, i think im going to wait a little before i try to do anything big. My plan right now is to possibly continue leaving my 4 plants at my friends depending on how he takes care of them and the environment temps etc. etc.. His dad will let him grow 5 plants at a time so that works pretty good for now.. we still havent sexed my friends plant so if its male i'll just give him a new clone to play with. In the mean time at my place i will put a lock on the door to the first room where my gf has her bed/computer/fridge/etc. then a pad lock on each side of the door to my grow room so no one can come in if im working in there (like my mother)..

not sure as to how many im going to grow under what.. ive thot of just growing with the 400watt, then mayb last 4 weeks of flower with the 1000watt and just one grow one harvest and take a look see at my situation from there. With this small setup (estimating 5'x5'x7.5') i have tons of room left in the room for me to bring my bed and her bed (we like our sleep space lol, need to buy a king size bed eventually) and a tv and a lazy boy possibly.. then we can use the other room for our computers and a couch and another tv.. hopefully a ps3 soon too.

thanx man, ya i will def. let u know when everythings up and going again... as u read my last post i want to try and grow with the 400 mainly then flower last 4 weeks with 1000watt HPS.. that would be awsome.. but ive recently figured out that the area under my desk where your feet go under the keyboard its almost the exact size i wanted to have under my LED light! i wanted a 2'x2'x?' for the light spand.. and under the desk it is 2'x1'10"x2' so this will be perfect for a stealthy grow if i only decide to use my LED and T5s/CFLs.. and then if i want to setup to the 400watt like i want i can build something in the corner of the room.. i'll figure it out.. but the stealthy LED computer desk grow would b pretty sweet to c how much i can yeild in a 2'x2'x2' space
 
What the fudge man last i was here you were doing well and now this bomb shell..That really sucks because this was definately one of the ones i wanted to follow, i just got caught up over the last 4-5 pages and seems like the bugs kind of did you in here because all your other intangibles were pretty well set up for success...Ive never had mites on any of my 6-7 grows but i have had very bad gnats on a couple and i must say one thing i learned is that your grow area is never as clean and clear as you think im constantly wiping and debugging mine..Well i hope all goes well for your nexyt journy and dont forget to send me an invite bro...Peace

ya man those mites are a pain in the ass, there is a couple on all the new clones i took and aswell on the last 4 lst'd plants i have at my friends, just trying to maintain at the moment, ive bin hesitant to spray them down becuz last time even the biggest of my plants couldnt handle the doktor doom so i obviously dont want to try it on the young'ns.. i will however spray the underleaves with water as often as possible and use my neem oil spray (dont know if its the actual stuff, i will bring it into my hydro shop to c what they say, might end up getting some "einstein oil" which is neem oil and most commonly used)

going to go to work on this LED grow soon as i clean everything up.. then i will pot all my rooted clones and put them under the LED and veg. till i figure some other things out
